After completing his medical training in Seoul, he came down to Jeju and took his first steps as a doctor. Liking Jeju, his been living on the island for 13 years now, and a year and a half ago, he opened a neighborhoond clinic where you can see the scenery of Jeju sea and the Hallasan Mountain. Consistently posting writings on the blog, defining his identity as a doctor, he compiled those writings into a book this year. Through the patients he encounters, he observes Jeju and gains insight into societal issues, crafting deep and meaningful writings. After his clinic hours, he practices kendo, rides mountain bikes, and occasionally enjoys fishing. During weekends, he tends to a small garden, and one to two days a week, he always dedicates time to writing.
