Another week in the books, this one gearing up to the start of the Senate leg of the impeachment trail. We got the Parnas document drop and the GAO finding that the WH violated the law in regards to the Ukrainian funds
And there's an injury update on the Iranian missile strike

Another debate in the books, another recap made, and we've have five more of these to go.
This one actually had some new topics of substance however that made it interesting, like (gasp) foreign policy and trade.
And also one big controversy

Tyler Cowan put out an essay on what he thinks the future of libertarianism should / will look like and...I have a few thoughts. Naturally.
Spoiler alert - the thing Cowan wants libertarianism to be already exists elsewhere

It was another long week, but this past week had some extra special tension seeing as we kicked it off not know if we were going into a hot war with Iran or no but it's kinda ok now but not really since there are still 176 people dead who weren't meant to be part of all this
On the bright side we got a stemwinder from Gaetz of all people on how Congress needs to take back its war powers so there's that at least

This past week was a doozy even by current standards. We had an impeachment (depending on who you ask), a debate (which I already covered), and a budget bill that amongst other things raises the legal age to purchase tobacco to 21
Here's to hoping the next few weeks are quieter - tis the season after all

I sit down to talk to Bryan Caplan, economics professor at George Mason University and author of several books, to talk about his latest book 'Open Borders - The Science and Ethics of Immigration'
We talk about the philosophical and economic arguments for open borders, why Milton was wrong, and however if you don't agree with the idea of open borders he still has some ideas for you to ponder

Yes. I have made it through six (6) Democratic primary debates. For you. So you don't have to.
Although I have to say this one...wasn't so bad
