So let me tell you about the origins of the French / Ahmani feud AKA the oddest political dustup in recent memory and why libertarians should care about the odd new conservatism that lead to it
So I had a nice sit down with Matt Cameron, a practicing immigration lawyer and teacher who works in the Boston area and is also founder and co-chair of Golden Stairs Immigration, a non-profit providing legal services to non-citizens who cannot afford legal representation.
We talk about everything from "doing it legally" to the intersection of the immigration law and our criminal justice system to our shared hatred of ICE.
If you like Matt and would like to see more of him you can find him at @matt_cam and please check out Golden Stairs Immigration at @GoldenStairsImm
While it was an abbreviated week it was still a week and there are still things to talk about. Like fake quotes and doctored videos and Mueller finally speaking publicly and Trump's Mexico tariffs.
Hate that your parents don't vote right and / or don't hold the correct progressive views? Hold their potential grandkids over their head! Because that's a totally normal well adjusted thing to do! Yeah!
No I'm not kidding someone floated this idea and so now here I am having to explain why that's...a horrible idea.

I didn't think Amash's tweet thread would blow up like it did. Obviously I was wrong. So I spent some time doing a deep dive on all three threads and my thoughts on them, plus I discuss the bad awful no good news about Assange and the new charges the DoJ has handed down.
It's weekly roundup time once again and obviously the big topic is still the proliferation of heartbeat (or in this case total ban) abortion laws that just keep coming
This week I talk about the Alabama law, I weigh in with some more personal thoughts on abortion, and I hope y'all don't kill me
Oh and Amash said he thinks there's grounds for a Trump impeachment let's talk about that
Here's a fun conversation I had with Elizabeth Nolan Brown and Kat Murti about their organization Feminists For Liberty, the idea of libertarian feminism, and making a home for ladies (and gents!) like us who promote the ideas of liberty and gender equality
Check out Feminists For Liberty - https://www.feministsforliberty.com
There's a lot of talk and a lot of controversy surrounding the new "heartbeat" abortion laws that are either in effect or potentially will be so I decided to help clear up some of the facts of what is and is not in the Georgia and Ohio laws. Hopefully you'll find this helpful.

I can't link to the text of the Ohio law here but if you want it contact me on twitter at @jenniferm_q and I can get it to you
Of course I had to do an episode on the ridiculous NYT op-ed about how we should relax about socialism. Of course I did.

It's weekly roundup time once again! This week we have another chapel of the never-ending Russiagate saga, the latest deplatforming drama plus a Section 230 discussion, and a quick Assange update
