Before everyone starts ripping into the new book 'Why Women Have Better Sex Under Socialism' in earnest I though I'd do my review on the book you REALLY need to be reading to find out what life was like for women in the Soviet Union.

I cannot recommend this book (and anything Slavenka Drakulic has written) enough. Go buy it.

Finally my promised follow up to my Kindly Inquisitors book review where I do a deep dive on the chapters 'The Fundamentalist Threat' and 'The Humanitarian Threat' and how when you're dealing with those who wish to limit free speech you need to understand what kind of person you're dealing with.
