Barry and Joel kick off the final hour covering the Rockets’ descent from first to worst. Then they talk about the Grammy nominations and show their age by barely knowing any of artists/songs nominated. They turn back to the NBA and discuss some of the big news. After, they give their opinions on day one of baseball’s winter meetings. The guys give their picks for the Monday Night Football game and look at which coaches might be on the chopping block.

Barry and Joel discuss the problems that led to the Texans’ loss. Then they take a look at the rest of the games around the NFL and Joel tackles the awful officiating across the board. After discussing the top players and MVP candidates, the guys turn to the XFL and throw around possible team names. Barry shows his holiday spirit and explains why he has a collection of Christmas trees. The guys talk about the controversy surrounding “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.”

Barry starts the first hour by sharing stories about his crazy weekend in Dallas and his new BFF, Christopher Reid. The guys talk about the Texans’ upsetting loss to the Colts and have a lot of callers that want to chime in. They dive deeper into Demaryius Thomas’ contributions to the team and Jadeveon Clowney’s game-ending penalty.

Joel and Barry start the hour by giving Nick flack about his bad etiquette. Joel questions LeBron’s desire to bring Carmelo Anthony to L.A. The guys turn to the news of the Buffalo Bills trying to incentivize fans to shovel snow at their stadium while the Saints and Pelicans’ owner paid off layaways at Wal-Mart. Barry brings up the controversy surrounding Kevin Hart and his old tweets that resurfaced. The guys do their NFL picks and betting lines. Joel brings up a Harvard professor’s study that says you should only eat 6 French fries with your meal.

Joel and Barry start the second hour talking about Barry’s plethora of jobs. The conversation turns to a quote from Eric Gordon about his unhappiness with the Rockets’ struggles and they continue to discuss this season’s woes. The guys turn their attention to the Texans and their upcoming game against the Colts. The crew argues about etiquette. The guys cover the day’s big NFL news.

Joel and Barry start the first hour of the Friday show talking about the family squabble with Joel’s pups and Barry tells about his upcoming trip to Dallas for a stand-up gig and transitions to the Houston Comedian of the Week, Victor Tram. The guys talk about some social media issues. The guys pay homage to the anniversary of the Bombing of Pearl Harbor December 7, 1941\. The guys delve into the Thursday Night Football game between the Titans vs. Jaguars. The guys announce the passing of Luis Valbuena and Jose Castillo both former Astros in a vehicle crash in Venezuela.

Joel and Barry start the final hour at Beaux Coos talking about the XFL and Ricky Williams starting a former NFL owned league. They go into the Rockets vs. Utah tonight and the Western Conference pecking order. Joel discusses the Alex Smith latest injury news forecasting the possible end of his career. Steelers’ former linebacker that was paralyzed now dong sets of deadlifts, goal to play again and transition into NFL AFC defense rankings. The guys bring up a story about the University of Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh not happy about comparative big football conferences and their resources. The guys end the hour discussing Cruise Ships and beaches.

Joel and Barry live on location at Beaux Coo’s begin the second hour with the Big names in MLB acquisitions, Goldy and Eovaldi are not coming to Houston. The guys touch on the XFL coming to Houston. The guys discuss Duke’s new one and done recruit. Sigmund Bloom joins the show to talk fantasy football and help callers and texters with their fantasy football needs. The guys close the hour with Thursday Night Football with the Titans vs. Jaguars and the rest of the NFL matchups this weekend.

Joel and Barry are live on location from Beaux Coo Daiquiris and Cajun Eats and begin with the President Bush’s funeral and the logistics and planning that it took for his procession. Joel touches on a prior show interview about the Houston Hall of Fame and the reaction to Barry’s column on the selection of athletes chosen. They talk about a female sports caster’s leaked tape. Joel talks about the increase in pay for college football coaches through the years.

At the start of the third the guys have a bone to pick with the second class inductees of the Houston Sports Hall of Fame. The crew is joined by Lance Zierlein, who has to defend his love for stinky food. Lance gives his thoughts on Kyler Murray’s decision to not take the NFL off the table and who deserves to win the Heisman trophy. The guys round out the hour discussing NFL coaching prospects.
