Later in the hour the guys talk about how some cat is going to be transferred prisons and what crimes are punished by the general population more so than others and why.

The Usual Suspects begin the second hour of the day talking about peanut butter and dogs, carried over from the previous hour and swiftly move into recapping the recent Astros game and share a bit of disappointment over the last week of performances. Later in the hour the guys talk about the quarterback situation with the Jets following a story about some creeper peeping girls in the underbelly of port-a-potties’.

The Usual Suspects start their first hour of the day off with Joel talking about how The Bench has added him to a Russian spy list on twitter; he’s on the case to get to the bottom of the spy list. Later in the hour Intern Trey grabs the mic to mix it up with the guys in some discussion about texting and driving. This leads into Nick talking about his vacation.

To open up the final hour of the show, the guys hit on a variety of topics, including some of the division races across the NL. After the opening segment they discuss the Texans preseason game against the 49ers and Barry’s stand up segment about Hurricane Harvey. To close out the show they take a call from the infamous OU Mike and discuss the state of the NFL in the wake of the latest series of rule changes on tackling this past offseason.

To begin the middle hour of the big show the guys hit on the Astros recent offensive struggles, especially at home and Joel voices his disagreement with the controversial review from Friday’s game. As the hour rolls on, they discuss Martin Maldonado’s impact behind the dish, why 200 wins is such a massive milestone, and they try to pinpoint a reason for their second half struggles. To close out the hour, they discuss the rivalry between Houston and Dallas as well as Adrian Peterson signing for the Redskins.
