The show talks about teams like Oklahoma State and how teams might be lobbying to get into the playoff. The guys agree that Clemson will win the ACC and Alabama will win the SEC. The argument the guys have is who makes the top 4 in the second to last playoff rankings and how that will make it easier for certain teams to make it because some of the teams do not play in their conference title games. The guys go back and forth on the Texans and whether they are just mired in mediocrity. Barry and Joel argue whether it is better to be 8-8 or 9-7 and knowing you will only have a first round exit or if it is better to try for something greater even if it costs more seasons. Barry and Joel argue whether it would be better to have Ryan Fitzpatrick or Brock Osweiler right now based on salaries and expectations.

Joel talks about the Packers and Eagles on Monday Night and looks ahead to the Texans match-up with Green Bay in week 13. The guys go back and forth on the tent situation behind the Packers bench and find it sort of humorous. Also, the show talks about how McCarthy is doing as the Packers season moves forward. Joel thinks back to the last time the Packers played the Texans in Houston and Aaron Rodgers lit up the Texans for 6 touchdowns in a primetime match-up. The guys believe the Chargers exposed some vulnerabilities in the Texans secondary that the Packers might be able to take advantage of. Joel and Barry talk about how bad Osweiler has been for the Texans and how Texans fans have had to deal with terrible quarterbacks for the entire existence of the organization. Barry brings up how Osweiler has the worst QBR out of any Texans quarterback ever.
