We did it! Episode 10 and Season One (1) of the Jerk, Jollof and Collard Greens Podcast is officially in the books, and for the next week following the release date of this episode, the Pod’ will be on a slight “siesta” to make some much needed enhancements and improvements to our content, structure and offerings. Let’s be real: #Self-Care is essential y’all and applies to all things.

That being said, we felt it would be best to end this season on a comical note. So, after some heavy “assuaging” the Pod’ has agreed to participate in 12 rounds of the question game: “WHAT WOULD YOU DO?” In “What would you do?”: the panel will be asked 12 hypothetical (and not so hypothetical) multiple choice and open ended questions. Participants will be required to select and/or provide their best responses. Did we mention that the questions were created by Glenn and Dblack? Let the hysteria ensue. The JJC Panel will go head to head in this three-way cultural melee to determine once and for all “WHO DOES IT BEST.” Panel members will be asked to compare and measure the contributions of their respective origin countries (Jamaica vs. Nigeria vs. America)  towards black culture and the African Diaspora in America. The panel will be surveyed on a variety of categories ranging from, but not limited to, music, food, sports and entertainment. Surely to be an ethnocentric affair, legitimacy of responses will be weighed based on panel vote/consensus, uniqueness, historical achievements and/or accuracy. In today’s discussion the JJC Panel will be exploring gender roles and the various social stigmas associated. As we have an all male testosterone heavy panel we will be focusing on the male perspective doing a deep dive into topics such as red pill, to be a simp or simping, and the Kevin Samuels' effect.
