Before Jerry stepped into his role at REI he served on the board of Lulu Lemon as well as President & COO of Coach, COO of Victoria’s Secret, and CEO of Mast Industries.
Jerry grew up on a farm we he learned the value of hard work, but his college experiences and decisions lifted his sights on new horizons and eventually landed him an opportunity in law school where he paid his way through. Upon graduation he quickly excelled in the law profession, but found himself at a crossroads when he was offered a position with a consulting firm. His decision to step into the new venture changed the course of his trajectory.
On the show he shares his story, the importance of standing up and making you own decisions, taking a growth mindset, always learning from others, adding value, great leadership and culture, and the importance of knowing who you are becoming.
