  • Awaken Seattle | Original Song | Pastor Jesse Campbell
This is a prayer for the Seattle area, naming neighborhoods and praying for each of them. It was written by Pastor Jesse Campbell originally for The Redemption Church with a heart for other churches in our area to sing it out to God along with us! Lyrics:
I’m so sick of being bound by this fear of being found
Quiet Christians all erase our city’s only saving grace
Passively we settle so we don’t offend the devil...
    Overwhelmed by it, I’m cautious
Who am I to fix this lostness?
Yet this is my ministry. It’s not about ability
The martyrs of the past in fiercer fires were steadfast
    Prechorus:
    So, I, I
Reject cowardice. I won’t be quiet anymore. I won’t be quiet anymore!
    I, I
Can almost see the lost raise hands to You, raise their hands to you
    I, I
Shatter my silence on the altar of revival as I open up my Bible and obliterate my idols I am not alone! I’m not alone! I’m not alone, God grow your church 100 fold! Grow your church 100 fold!
    Chorus:
(‘Cause) God’s not done here. He is able to bring revival! God, let it be so
Call forth sinners and start with me
This rain is grace and it sets hearts free
Holy Spirit through Christ alone tell the orphan “Welcome home.”
Heal your church, God Sound the call One hope, one faith, one Father of all
God Wake up God Wake up Oh Waaaake up Seattle
God Awaken God Awaken God Awaken Seattle
    Bridge:
Into this church you named “Redemption”
Bring the broken souls of Renton
Pour your Spirit out on Kent
Oh, God use us as we repent
    From the hearts of Issaquah
Sons and daughters you will draw
    Among the wealthy of Bellevue
Grasp lost souls. Draw them to You
God, we lift our city leaders
    We will be their interceders
    Free our homeless from addiction
    Speak upon them benediction
    Contriving not, we’re waiting on
    You to save our Washington
    From among the suicidal
    Catalysts for Your revival
(Start the higher bridge melody here)
    We upon your shores Pacific
    Make your gospel now prolific
    Erupt from Mt. Rainier revival
    We prepare for its arrival
    Kick the demons from Seattle
Send arch angels. Win the battle!
    Shower grace on these Cascades
    Bring revival rain we pray
God who made the great Olympics
By your Spirit, turn the cynics
    Don’t stop with Olympia
    Send your hope to India
    Gather into Your embrace
    Broken souls from every race
Here now let them end their search
    Call it “The Redemption Church!”
