Jesse Campbell Ministries

The massive groundswell of revival in Acts was mingled with insults dealt with the apostles by others who considered themselves believers. There will come a day when we can experience pure and unadulterated joy, but that day will be in heaven. In the meantime, we as Christians will take punches when we reach people for Christ. Most of those will come from other Christians. This side of heaven, the only alternative is to stay on the sidelines and not share the gospel with as many people as possible, but such passivity results precisely in our status quo.

Peter and John had no money to give to the paralyzed man by the opulent gate called "Beautiful." That worked out well for this man because what they had was way better. In the name of Jesus, the man was healed and began running and jumping and praising God. The people who had negative things to say about it? The religious leadership.

This sermon video, along with every message including Acts 1:8 in the history of the Western Hemisphere, is proof that Jesus' prophecy would come true. The red letters in the opening of the Book of Acts are the prophetic words of the resurrected Jesus. At the opening of Acts is the ascension of Jesus back to the Father, an apocalyptic prophecy, and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon Jews from every nation.
