Today’s crown ornament points Mrs. Wiseman to the moment David was anointed in 1 Samuel 16. David was a good king—but not perfect. God promised a forever King would come from David’s family, and that King is Jesus. All Advent long, the Jesse Tree leads us to the true King of Kings, whose reign is righteous, loving, and eternal.
