The ladder ornament leads Tory and TJ into Jacob’s dream from Genesis 28—a stairway reaching from earth to heaven. Jesus later tells us that He is the way to God. Where sin separates us, Jesus restores us. Through the Jesse Tree, we’re seeing how every story points to Jesus. Today reminds us that God came down to us so that we could be brought back to Him forever.
