With the colorful coat ornament, Mr. Wiseman remembers Joseph—deeply loved, betrayed, and yet used by God to save many lives. Joseph’s story in Genesis 37 and 50 points to Jesus, who was also rejected and betrayed but gave His life so that we could be saved. As the Jesse Tree grows, we’re learning that God can turn even the hardest moments into something good and redemptive—just like He did through Jesus.
