ABUNDANCE
📖 Matthew 6, verses 25-30 TPT

Food, water and clothing are particularly relevant at this moment in time when we see empty shelves in shops, but actually, that abundance of provision goes far beyond just physical needs.

I want to take a moment to meditate on Gods utter goodness and abundance - I think it's only when we really get hold of his abundance and his INTENT to take care of us that we can begin to walk out of self-sufficiency and into wholehearted reliance on our father.

We are free to serve the One master.

In this time of our world being turned upside down, I wonder how many of us are finding that, under the surface, we are feeling shaken by concerns and anxieties that we haven’t experienced before.

I want to share a passage with you that I have found helpful in revealing the motivations of my own heart.

I don’t now what’s going around in your head these days, but in mine are concerns about food shopping, facilitating my kids with their distance learning and my 80 year old Dad. Our “Normal” is being redefined. It's a scary time.  It's a time of shaking. A time of discomfort.

We are experiencing tensions in our lives that we have not experienced before, and its is shaking us.

Whether we are key workers or whether we are stuck at home, many of us alone, it is a time of great shaking. We are feeling our spiritual poverty.

As a mum, wife, follower of Jesus and sometimes actress, I love the Word and have much joy in sharing it. My aim is to step into scripture and bring it to life and my hope is that something of the spirit of these ancient words will capture your heart and encourage you to discover it more deeply for yourself.
