Shortly before 4pm on Monday May 4, 2015, a work crew doing some paving discovered a body in a ditch in the area of range road 285 and township road 264 in Balzac, Alberta near the CrossIron Mills Mall. After a worker called 911 to report the discovery, the Airdrie RCMP responded and secured the area for investigation.
