Trusting in Jesus alone makes us right with God.  And in theory you may agree with that.  But in practice, there are a ton of things that we think we need to add to Jesus to be right with God.  Then freedom in the journey is found when we turn from being our own lord and savior; strength for the journey is found when we rely on Jesus’ strength and not our own.  Next, once you are connected to Jesus, when the Father looks at you, he sees breath-taking beauty!  Perry admits that sometimes that’s hard to believe, but he is learning more and more to know that it’s true.  And finally, what it looks like to “Take captive every thought and make it obedient to Christ” 2 Cor. 10:4-5).  Share the show if you’re encouraged by it.
