The Bible claims that Christ will reign for 1000 years on earth. It sounds like he intends to take over, to re-colonize our world with himself. And he said that when he comes, he will speak with earthquakes and tempests. Have you experienced such events in your life? And if so, did you recognize it as his second-coming voice?
In this week's episode, we explore this idea of re-colonization. We also dip our toes into the subject of money and stewardship. - So many good ideas to explore with Jesus. Hope you enjoy this week's conversation!
In this week's session of Jesus in This Mess, Greg and I talk about sources of truth and managing our own stewardships.
In this week's episode, Greg shares one of his "baptized" classic rock songs and we discuss how Christ fits miraculously into our lives when and where we least expect.
What happens when you can't find Jesus? Is that ok? And is it possible that He is the very veil that masks Himself? If so, why? This week, we explored these questions and found ourselves letting go to our inability to understand.

How much is enough? And who's it for? And how to reach them? These questions we explore in this week's episode.
Curiosity precedes discovery. And prophecy precedes the change. But does anybody care? A few perhaps. And that's ok. The change comes anyway. And the world rolls on. Sometimes we're right and sometimes we're wrong. And the world rolls on and on and on. And that's ok. And that's ok. The world rolls on, and that's ok. And thanks to God, right or wrong, because of Him, we're all ok.

Travail is a natural part of birth. So it is with spiritual re-birth. It begins with bitterness - with a deep realization that our framework, our actions, our intents are flawed. We see the need for something new and we swallow down the bitter cup, believing in the thing we can't yet see. It's like eating dandelions: bitter to the taste, but good for you. And if you persist through the pain, eventually, something new is born out of suffering: a new you.

There is a spirit that moves in a person who has been born of God that is unpredictable. It is at the forefront of that truth which emanates from heaven, and when it appears, it can be disruptive to the status quo. For this reason, ecclesiastical structures are often put in place to limit the spontaneous. Thus creeds, traditions, and teleprompters. In this week's episode, we seek to explore both sides of this dilemma with compassion for both the spontaneous and those who are seeking to preserve the faith they hold most dear.
