Today's Promise: 1 John 2:1

When you became a Christian, Jesus forgave your sin and gave you His rightness before God.

Although you may try to live a life of holiness and obedience, there are times when you fall into sin. Instead of feeling guilty and condemned for what you have done, remember Jesus is on your side. He stands between you and God the Father, and His blood forgives your sin.

Jesus stands between you and God. Instead of God seeing your sin, He sees the righteousness of Jesus in you.
