Jesus is not just "the life" in doctrine—He must be our life personally (John 14:6). Just as God breathed physical life into Adam, spiritual life comes only when Christ gives life to the soul. Without Him, a person may be religious, moral, or successful, but is still spiritually dead. Church attendance, denominational loyalty, knowledge of Scripture, or good works cannot save. Only a real, personal relationship with Jesus—through surrender and faith—brings eternal life. When Jesus truly is our life, it shows: we begin to think like Him, love like Him, live with conviction, and seek to honor Him above all else. The message is simple and urgent: Don't settle for religion. Know Christ Himself, and let Him be your life.
