Is it possible for love and vengeance to exist together? People, especially in today’s culture, have a hard time believing this. Yet, many places in the Bible say this is true of God. So how do you reconcile God’s perfect love with His vengeance? Today, Pastor Daniel explains that part of the reason you struggle with this is that you don’t understand perfect love. He invites you to turn to God for answers…to show you how this is possible.

Wow! That’s a heavy question from Pastor Daniel today. But it’s one that we all really need to consider. The reality is that when you take God’s gifts for granted and forget that He’s the reason you have so many good things, you’ll slip into an operating system that says that you are the source. And this is prime real estate for idolatry. You’ll make yourself or other things more important than God. And nothing good ever comes from that.

Temporary. Fleeting. Short-lived. These describe most of what you see around you. As good and helpful as they are, your money, job, house, and car don’t last forever. Today, Pastor Daniel reminds you to set your heart on what’s eternal- God, His Word, and people. Making these your priority will help keep you rooted in God’s heart and perspective. As you’ll learn, damage is done when you value what’s temporary more than the eternal.

It seems like the older you get, the harder it is to remember anything. And this is especially true when life is busy or stressful. But, it’s in exactly those moments that remembering who God is and what He says becomes even more important. That’s why it’s so cool that Moses set these truths to music for the Israelites. Today, Pastor Daniel shares that Moses knew that this song would help God’s people remember the most important things.

Not a single person on earth right now can follow Jesus perfectly, all the time, every moment. As Pastor Daniel just said – we’re prone to rebellion! We see the shiny, new, easy road – and it’s enticing. Maybe today you’ve strayed a bit – it’s not too late to come back to Jesus. And when you do, stick close to Him! Remember that you don’t have to walk alone – you have the Lord to lean on, and to follow when you don’t know the way!

That’s a heavy question Pastor Daniel just asked – what part of the Bible do you say you believe, but you aren’t actually putting into practice? Maybe it’s a lifestyle choice, or maybe it’s the subject of today’s message: being afraid. Pastor Daniel will talk about a transition of leadership today – and any transition can be stressful. Fear can become the number one response in an instant. But God’s Word is crystal clear: “DO NOT FEAR!”

What role are you playing in the Kingdom of God right now? If you’re following Jesus, then it’s something He’s leading you into. It’s important – and it’s making an impact. But as you’ll learn today with Pastor Daniel, that impact will be temporary. At some point, God will move you on to a new task, or He’ll call you home. But He won’t leave the work undone – God is preparing someone to step into that place. And He’s preparing you for what’s next too!

If you’re following Jesus and letting him do a work in you, everything can point back to Him. As Pastor Daniel will share today, we often only want to attribute the successes to Jesus – those blessings He’s poured out on you. But the hard stuff can be Him too – growing in faith is messy! It’s hard, and it can hurt – but what amazing things come from it! So don’t shy away from giving glory to God in the trial – He’s there, and He’s working!

God wants all of you – not just the parts you think are worthy of Him. And He’s not waiting for you to get it all together! God knows exactly who you are, and He loves you! In today’s message, Pastor Daniel will encourage you to love the Lord back fully as well – and that means giving Him access to every part of your life. Let Him in to your activities and your conversations – and let Him guide how those things take place too!

Is God’s primary motivation for loving you based on what YOU can do? It might seem that way to some people – they see a list of rules and regulations as something they can follow – a contribution they need to make to be saved. But that’s not what God wants! It’s not who He is. Pastor Daniel will tell you today all about the relationship God wants with you – and you don’t have to do a thing to earn it! He wants to know you as you are, right now!
