There’s something profound about how when you’re in a very dark place, even the smallest glimmer of light totally changes everything. This holiday season, Pastor Daniel invites you on a journey to explore how Jesus, the light of the world, continually works to transform everything His light touches. You’ll be encouraged to make space for the Lord so that He can shine His light into the dark parts of your life and usher in healing and hope.

From the classroom to the streets, there’s a difference between knowing information and applying that knowledge in a way that makes your life better. Well, today, Pastor Daniel implores you not to let the things you know about God and how He says the world works best to merely take up space in your head. He shares that you become a radiant reflection of Jesus when what you know travels down from your head and impacts your heart.

Self-reflection is usually a very good thing. It helps you think through how you’re really doing and if there are areas of your life that you need to change. Well, today, Pastor Daniel encouraged you to take a good look at your life so that you can see if the choices you’re making are enabling you to live the full life that God wants you to have. Jesus wants you to live the rich and joy-filled life He came to give you. He doesn’t want you to settle for less.

All the research, books, and Ted Talks of the past several years have reminded us that the Bible had it right all along. Today, Pastor Daniel shared that the concepts of gratitude and thankfulness that are peppered throughout scripture make a profound difference when you apply them to your daily life. You’ll be encouraged to think about your focus. Are you grateful for what you have or are you dwelling on what you think you’re lacking?

If given the option, would you choose a broken-down scooter or a luxury dream car? Well, today, Pastor Daniel shares that this is the choice each of us is given when it comes to the life we live. Are you willing to settle for a life that’s just so-so? A mediocre version of the life that you could have? God has big plans for His people to be a safe, grace-filled place for others to run to when the savageness of this world becomes too much.

For all the generations of believers, past to present, the struggle has been the same. How do you live differently from the culture of the time without losing your ability to engage people? Today, Pastor Daniel shares that this is a perpetual struggle. When you begin a relationship with the Lord, you set yourself apart from the world and the way you used to live. But God wants you to maintain some connection so that you impact the people around you.

In this culture so focused on personal performance, it’s easy to let this mindset trickle into your interactions with the Lord. But today, Pastor Daniel reminds you that this isn’t how God works. There’s no such thing as a good Christian. There’s only a good and faithful Jesus. You, like everyone else, are constantly messing up, choosing your way over His. But, God’s faithfulness never wavers. He is always ready and waiting to take you back.

Life is full of ups and downs. With each new season comes another set of challenges and difficulties. Today, Pastor Daniel shares that there’s a temptation to make yourself the hero of your story as if you were the one who made it possible to get through that tough time. But that’s not being honest. Jesus is the one who carried you through. He’s the hero. Keeping Him at the center will help you see how He’s constantly at work for good in your life.

For most of us, simply responding to Jesus isn’t about learning a whole bunch of amazing new things, but following through on what you already know. Today, Pastor Daniel urges you to take steps to do what the Lord has already shown you in His Word. When you say yes to Him, you’ll embark on a great adventure and grow deeper in your relationship with God. He’ll utilize your willingness to respond to Him to reveal even more about Himself.

Looking around at how the world works today, you can see how the desire for money and power drive decisions. Personal gain seems to be the top priority in many cases. But, as you’ll learn today, God wants you to have a different perspective. He wants you to put people first. Pastor Daniel shares that it’s not that the projects aren’t important…they are. But you can’t lose sight of the people they’re serving. They should be your focus and priority.
