Jesus is Real Radio with Daniel Fusco

God calls each of His followers to a better way of living, one that is obedient to His commands. His plans are always to benefit you and not to harm you, so following Him leads to life. Pastor Daniel will encourage you today to take steps toward living an obedient life, no matter how far away it seems. It may take a while, but choosing to walk toward God will lead you to a right relationship with your Creator, and will change your life, forever!

Whether you have money to spare or you live in an impoverished situation, you're instructed to give generously. You're also told not to worry about resources! Pastor Daniel will remind you today that what you have in this world belongs to God anyway. He will provide all you need – anything extra is a blessing that can be used to help others! Give to the Lord and to others from your money, your time, and your talents, and trust Him to provide for you always!

The culture you live in values work and productivity over rest, and that's unfortunate! Pastor Daniel will spend much of his message today reminding you of the importance of taking a break and resting in Jesus! God knew that people couldn't work all the time, every day, and He planned it early on that you would take time to rejuvenate! He provided the ultimate source of this rest for you too. Spend time with Jesus, and let Him restore your soul!

God knew where He was leading the Israelites and who they would encounter along the way to the Promised Land. In an effort to protect them and the relationship He had with His people, He warned Moses not to let differing religions mix. This advice is meant for you today too! Pastor Daniel will remind you that when you allow practices of worship into your life that differ from what God desires, it pulls you away from your Savior!

There’s plenty in this world that’s wrong - hunger, natural disasters, wars, you name it! Many people can’t place a good God into the terrible situations they see every day, but as Pastor Daniel will remind you today, they’re not accounting for the evil that’s in this world too. God is still good, and always will be! He’s working in this world as well, doing things that you can’t always understand. That’s where faith comes in - you need to trust Him!

The Christian message is that you get to have a relationship with the God who created the world. He made every plant, animal, and person in it, and developed a vast solar system that remains too large to fully comprehend. God is so unique - He’s all powerful and all knowing, and you cannot be compared to Him! But, Pastor Daniel will remind you that despite this vast difference, God can be known, all because of the cross of Christ!

Do you have the Holy Spirit dwelling in your heart? If so, you stand out in this world! Today Pastor Daniel will remind you that it doesn't matter to God what ethnicity or gender you are, where you came from or who your family is, the only thing that matters is your Salvation! You can't be in His presence without laying down your sins at the cross and accepting grace, and that comes with a new life, and adoption into His family!

Rebellion is in your heart – you're a human being living in a sinful, fallen world after all. No matter how hard you work to follow God, enticements from the enemy will still have an effect on you. Pastor Daniel will remind you today that when you give in to these temptations, you change the relationship between you and your perfect Creator. He can't be with you when you're sinning. While He's always there, you may need to look harder to find Him!

God knew that at some point, the Israelites would mess up again. Their rebellious nature would take over and they'd be seeking their own pleasure soon enough. Because of this, God took Himself out of the picture so that He wouldn't destroy them! Pastor Daniel will remind you today that this was before Jesus had come to be the sacrificial lamb, something that you're able to be covered by! His death allows you to be in God's presence!

Today Pastor Daniel will bring you to the description of the judgement brought on the people of Israel for their blatant sin. The Israelites had a choice, and they chose sin, so they needed to face their consequence. Pastor Daniel will remind you that the wages of sin - all sin - is death. God deserves your respect and is within His rights to demand restitution, but He also loves you enough to give you another option. That option is Jesus!
