Jesus is Real Radio with Daniel Fusco

Praying for your enemies is something you’re told to do as a follower of Jesus. That’s much easier said than done, though. When someone wrongs you or hurts a person you love, you want justice! However, Pastor Daniel will remind you today that God is merciful, and He can be merciful with the people opposing you. If you’re able to forgive and ask forgiveness for the accused, you might also be opening their eyes to the hope of Christ!

Idolatry is a problem. It was in Moses day and it is now. You don’t see golden calves being created and placed in town squares for worship, but you can find the same idea in your own heart! Pastor Daniel will remind you today that an idol is anything you put before God - it could be an object or simply a desire. When that thing takes God’s place, you’re priorities take a wrong turn, and you’ll be drawn quickly into sinful practices!

There are certain things in your personal life that you don’t share on Facebook or send a Tweet about. These things are intimate - just for you and your spouse or family. In the same way, Pastor Daniel will share today that some things should just be kept sacred for the Lord. Whether it’s giving habits, prayers, or something you've been given by God, there are aspects of your relationship with your Father that should only be for Him to see!

Good works aren’t meant to get saved - you do good BECAUSE you’re saved! This is what Pastor Daniel wants you to know in today’s message - there’s nothing you can do to get to Heaven on your own. Only Jesus can save you from this life of sin and start you down a new road that leads to eternity with Him. As a response to the Salvation you’ve received, you’ll find you WANT to do good for others, showing them the love and grace of Christ!

Prayer is important to God, and He hears and cherishes every word you utter! Even when you don't feel your prayers are worthwhile, your loving Heavenly Father listens and cares! He wants to hear from you, and He wants to show you love in return! In today's message, Pastor Daniel will remind you not to neglect this sacred time of communication you have with God. Spend time in prayer – it will never be a waste!

All sin deserves punishment, and that punishment is death. Every wrong you commit is subject to this! In the Old Testament, God offered an option of letting a sacrifice be made in your place – an innocent animal's blood was exchanged in your place. Today Pastor Daniel reminds you that the ultimate sacrifice was already made for you – Jesus! When you accept Him as taking your place, you're no longer guilty – you're no longer condemned to death!

God won't automatically use you for ministry. He isn't going to push you where He wants you to go – He simply asks you to follow! Pastor Daniel today will encourage you to become a vessel where God can be revealed through you to other people. You can give your heart to God, but you can also then ask Him to use you as He sees fit. God will lead you in your steps, and you can trust that He's taking you exactly where He knows you'll be useful!

You likely have different things in your house that correspond with different events. You'll wear a nice outfit for a fancy outing, or set out the good china for an important dinner. You wouldn't use those for doing yard work or entertaining young children, though! In the same way, Pastor Daniel will remind you today that you're special to the Lord! You're set apart to do a unique work for the Kingdom, and God wants you to live this way always!

The priests of the tabernacle served the people of Israel, but that was never their primary focus. God called them to serve HIM! In today's message, Pastor Daniel will remind you that this is to be your focus too – serve God, not man! People will always let you down when you look to them for affirmation. They're not created to be your reward, but they will benefit from your service if first you look upward to God! God sees all things, and He'll be pleased with you!

One of the jobs given to the priests was to care for the golden lamp stand, to keep the lights on, as Pastor Daniel will put it. They needed to keep it clean and burning, to make sure it reflected God's light. Today, Pastor Daniel will remind you again that you're a reflection of God's light too! The darkness is enticing, but there's nothing good in it. Be the light to this world, and never stop – after all, Jesus light never stops burning!
