Part of being a family of faith is allowing the diversity that exists to thrive. You are different than the other members of your church, and there's a purpose for that! You've been made uniquely and perfectly by your Creator to serve your brothers and sisters in Christ in a special way! Everyone is needed to make the family whole, just as every part of your body is needed to make it function correctly. Celebrate the diversity in your church!

You come from a family that's unique and flawed, possibly even dysfunctional. This is where you were placed, however, and the upbringing you received has shaped you. Today Pastor Daniel will tell you that as a follower of Christ, you've been adopted into a new family – God's family! This family of faith exists simply because Jesus came to earth to die for your sins, and for the sins of your earthly family members. All are made new in this new family!

There are varying temptations to sin that plague people, but Pastor Daniel shares today that the root of them all can be boiled down to similar heart issues – pride and lust, desiring something that will replace God. Every person is tempted in these ways, and that's why Jesus needed to come to earth! He needed to show you that you can't be good enough, because only God has lived a sinless life! Therefore, only God can save you from your sins!

Jesus was tempted by Satan in His time here on earth. The tricks and phrases the enemy approached Him with aren't any different than what you hear from Satan today! Pastor Daniel will share how much Jesus knows about living in a broken world. He felt the pain you feel and encountered the same trials, but there was one difference – Jesus NEVER succumbed to the sins! He resisted every time, making Him worthy to save you from your sins!

There's many things in the Bible that cause confusion and create a tension that we feel needs to be resolved. This tension exists as well in the concept that Jesus is fully God but was also fully human. Pastor Daniel will share today that sometimes, in an effort to solve the tension that exists, people swing to one side or the other and disregard other aspects of Christ. As His follower, you need to embrace all the characteristics of Jesus!

In today's message, Pastor Daniel will share with you how you can know for sure that Jesus is indeed God. He is equal to God, and was in Heaven before coming to the earth as a tiny, helpless baby. In fact, that was His choice! Jesus didn't have to come live among people. He didn't have to leave the comfort of Heaven. Yet Jesus chose to come, to take on all the trouble and chaos of this broken world so that He could offer hope – to YOU!

Jesus is God, and Pastor Daniel will spend his message today giving you ample evidence of this! Because Jesus is God, He has the authority to tell you what right and wrong are. He also has the power to save you from your sins. Jesus is the ONLY way to get to Heaven! Someday it will be too late for you to accept His grace and turn away from your sins, but today, it's not – today, you can choose to come to Jesus and be set free!
