Jesus is Real Radio with Daniel Fusco

You’ve probably done little things in your life you’re not proud of, but you wouldn’t label them as “big sins”. You might even think of yourself as a pretty decent person in comparison to others! What happens, though, when you compare all of your actions to your perfect and Holy Creator? Pastor Daniel’s message today will challenge you to look at sin through God’s eyes, not yours. He'll remind you why grace is such a wonderful gift!

Who’s standard are you basing your scale of justice on? Is it God’s, or the world’s? In today’s message, Pastor Daniel will describe the difference between the two, and point out why God’s form of justice is the only purely perfect system. People in the world judge others based on what they know and what they perceive to be true, but God sees it all! Instead of falling into step with people around you, let God dictate how you treat others!

Getting something wrong doesn't exactly make you feel good about yourself. You know you've let someone down, but the world doesn't promote making that public knowledge. Today Pastor Daniel will take the opposite approach and urge you to apologize immediately when you mess up! This shows honesty and humility to others, and reminds you that you still need your Savior! And Jesus will be there with the grace you need to start again!

Have you ever been in a situation where you feel superior to someone? It could be because of their background, their religion, or their current circumstances, but sometimes you may get the impression that you're better than they are. The Bible calls that self-righteousness, and warns you to not allow it to take root! Pastor Daniel today will encourage you to remember that you're not perfect either, and there's plenty that God's still working on!

Passing judgement on others is not the job of Jesus disciples. The perfect Savior of the world doesn't need your help at all to discern what's right and wrong in someone's heart! Pastor Daniel today will remind you that when you do judge someone, your revealing that your heart is hard toward others. Don't let that be the case in your life – ask Jesus to work in you to open and soften your heart, allowing you to bring people to the Kingdom!

Truth isn't subjective. Just because you think your truth is right doesn't mean it is! In today's message, Pastor Daniel will remind you that there really is an absolute truth, despite the world's attempts to deny it. While Jesus was on earth, He set the standard for living that His Father created at the beginning of time, and He expects you to follow it as well! It's a good standard that's different from the world, but is centered on salvation!

The truth of God's Word can be seen everywhere in the world! You have instincts of morality, even if you've never heard of Jesus. However, the truth can easily be suppressed when whatever is wrong wins in tempting you. You then try to ignore revelation, and as Pastor Daniel will share today, you become ungrateful for what God has already given you! Instead, let the truth of God guide you, and thank Him for all He's doing in your life!

No one is perfect – even you! That shouldn't be news to you, though. The Bible clearly states that everyone has sinned and deserved the judgement of your perfect God. Pastor Daniel will share today what the problem is in society, though – the truth is being suppressed! When judgements are made based on sin, this specific truth is being set aside. This will never lead to peace or to Jesus, and isn't at all what His followers are called to!

When you do something that goes against your relationship in Jesus, often times you’ll feel a check in your spirit. This is what’s known as conviction of your sins. Pastor Daniel will remind you today that this is a good thing, but what you do with that conviction is more important. You can choose to ignore the feeling and continue in that sin, or you can confess it to Jesus. He'll forgive you of that sin and help you walk away from it forever!

Who are you? That’s a question Pastor Daniel will pose to you today while introducing you to the book of Romans, a letter from the Apostle Paul. Paul identified himself well in his opening salutations, assuring anyone who was reading that his authority was not self made. Everything he said and did was because of what Jesus had done for him. Jesus needs to be the one setting your identity as well, so you can use His love to fuel your ministry!
