Jesus is Real Radio with Daniel Fusco

God has something extraordinary for you to do. It's most likely not something you'd expect, and it will take faith! He gives you, and all of His followers, the choice to come along, however! Taking that step of faith is hard, but Pastor Daniel today reminds us that we're not alone in our journey! God's given us ample promises throughout the Bible that He'll guide our steps if we trust Him! There's an adventure waiting out there – just take a step!

Our past does NOT need to define us. Through Jesus, we're all new creations! When we accept His free gift of love and forgiveness that He generously provided through His death, we are no longer chained to who we were. We can start fresh! Pastor Daniel shares today that this extends into our family's histories as well! Who our parents or grandparents were doesn't have to be who we are! We have to chance to change, and God to help us!

Many times the meaning behind God's plans for us is difficult to discern. God doesn't take the easy route from point A to point B, that's for sure! Today Pastor Daniel will acknowledge with us the strange plans God has at times, but he'll also give us some encouragement along the way! We know God is working to share love to the most people through us, and that He promises to walk with us through any process. That we can count on ALWAYS!

Opportunities for serving God will arise in our lives. God lays plans at our feet and gives us the choice whether we'll take them up or not. Throughout today's message, Pastor Daniel urges us to do just that – pick up the opportunities God has given us! We sadly sometimes walk away from these chances to serve, hoping that someone else will come along and take care of it. What are we missing in those moments? And what will we gain by jumping in?

God has a plan for each person to add to His Kingdom here on earth. This plan is likely NOT what you would have planned for yourself, but it's filled with more blessings and Heavenly treasure than you could ever imagine! In today's message, Pastor Daniel encourages us to take that step toward God, even if we're scared! We can boldly ask God to show us His plan, and He'll stand by us as we take our leap into it! We can rely on God, always!

Following God isn't easy, and the Bible confirms this again and again. Even knowing that, we can still step out in faith and allow God to be the strength and courage we need for any and every situation! Pastor Daniel today shares how Elisha, though not knowing what God had in store, left everything behind to follow His Creator! Pastor Daniel also encourages us to find a mentor to help us learn what it truly means to grow in our faith in God!

Jesus was generous, there's no denying it! As Christians, we need to look to Jesus example in every aspect of our lives, and that includes generosity. We've each been given different resources with which we can be generous, and Pastor Daniel today asks us to take inventory of how we're using those gifts. Are we giving the bare minimum, or are we looking for ways in which we can change our lives to free up more of ourselves?

The world around us needs compassion. As Christians, we want to follow Jesus lead in this area and allow other people's needs to move us to action! Pastor Daniel discusses in today's message how compassion translates into generosity. By giving of what we have, whether in physical resources or in our physical presence, we'll have the opportunity to meet people where they need help the most, and show them God's love in action!

The early church is a great picture of what living in close, deeply connected community is. Together they studied God's Word and provided practical support for one other. They spent time together at church and at each other's homes. Pastor Daniel shares today how we can model our own relationships with believers after the early church! When we are rooted in a faith community, we'll have the support we need to reach into the world!

We need relationships in our lives. From the moment we're born, we crave connection with others, and in fact fail to thrive if that need isn't met! Today Pastor Daniel will demonstrate how living relationally is vital to our growth Spiritually as well. We need other believers to support us in our faith journey, and in our physical needs as well. We in turn provide support and strength for others, creating a church body that does community well!
