As you listen today, you’ll hear how the priests at the tabernacle went through a ritual that signified how their totality should be set apart by the blood of the lamb. When applied to you, it’s not complicated. As Pastor Daniel will explain, what we take in matters. What we hear, what we touch, where we go…all of it should be considered in the light of what give glory to God.

A dirty mirror is useless. A lamp with no light would be thrown out. As Pastor Daniel teaches about the objects within the tabernacle, we’ll hear how there is deep significance in everything. The lamp stand had to remain lit constantly, which was the job of the priest. Our role is the same, to be clean reflectors of Jesus’ light…and today you’ll find how to do that.

Selfishness, insecurity, fear…there are a lot of reasons why a person would keep their distance from God. Fully committing to Him means that a lot of things will change. As Pastor Daniel teaches today, drawing nearer to the Savior means walking yourself into the inner courts. That’s where you’ll hear from Him, and be enabled to do the work that He wants you to do.

Can you imagine if you could only be present with the most important person in your life from one side of a curtain? A veil is meant to obscure, to separate one thing from another...which is the exact purpose it served in the temple. As Pastor Daniel discusses today, the veil in the tabernacle separated the people from the presence of God. Eventually, that veil was torn. We can now experience the fullness of His presence, because of Jesus.

As an unbeliever…Jesus, the cross…all of it just looks like Christianity. But, when Jesus is within you, from the inside you see His grace, you feel His love, it’s a totally different experience. In today’s teaching, Pastor Daniel describes the tabernacle as it’s discussed in Exodus…where every detail is a picture of Jesus. From the outside, we see colors, there is beauty…but the layered meaning of the tabernacle reveals much more.

As life happens, things come at us that distract us from God’s commands and will for us. As Pastor Daniel describes the function of the lamp stand in the tabernacle, we’ll picture ourselves as a mirror…the light reflectors of Jesus. When the mirror is dirty, the light is dull…or there is darkness. When the light shines, we can bring light, love and truth to a dark world.

We, as humans, are not great at being grateful. God knows our hearts, and is gracious. Today, Pastor Daniel will speak on the show bread, the table that God instructed His people to put in the tabernacle. As we’ll find, this functioned to remind the people that they were at peace with Him. Jesus is our peace. As the bread of life, we see that this symbol was pointing to Him, all along.
