Jesus is Real Radio with Daniel Fusco

God could change the world on His own if He wanted to but He wants us, to. Going to an amusement park is fun, but it's MORE fun with Company. As Pastor Daniel teaches in Matthew Today, Jesus is coming into Jerusalem. He includes His disciples, others in His plans. He builds relationships, teaches us, loves us through our interactions with Him. We need to be ready when He asks.

Most of us are so familiar with the gospel message, that it would be difficult to imagine hearing Jesus’ plan, as a disciple, directly from Him. It would have been difficult to swallow. As we’ll hear in today’s message, it was hard for Peter to understand. Pastor Daniel will explain how we react the same way…because we’re so set on what we THINK God has planned for us, we don’t listen to what He DOES.

When you realize you need help, when you’re looking for understanding and guidance in your struggles…Jesus meets you where you are. As Pastor Daniel teaches today, Jesus is real. He’s the Savior who has no limitations when it comes to changing lives and working in people. In this message, we’ll see how Jesus communicates with the disciples where they are…in love.

Since the fall in the garden, humans have felt shame. You may have shame so deep that it’s shaped your whole life. Carrying it around will color every experience. In this teaching from Pastor Daniel, we’ll hear how Judah was confronted with his sin…and then came the shame. But, God came to Adam and Eve in the midst of it…and only He could cover it. When He forgets it, so should we.

Marriage can be difficult to navigate, even if you’ve married the person God has for you. So, imagine then, how much harder if you’re with a person that doesn’t know God’s heart. As Pastor Daniel teaches about Judah and his infamous dealings with his daughter-in-law, we’ll find that his choices were birthed along a path of wrong relationship. Choose someone who loves you through the lens of God’s Love.

Are you giving up the life that God’s given you just to get more stuff? Or committing time to worthless pursuits? Get ready to be challenged by Pastor Daniel’s message to you today. As you listen to the story of Joseph’s brothers selling him into slavery, it’s easy to judge them. But many of us are spending countless hours to fulfill our own wants, when God could be using us for so much more.

Even though Esau wasn’t the chosen one, and didn’t come across as an admirable guy in the Bible…God cared about him, just as He cares about everyone who needs a Savior. As Pastor Daniel teaches today, Esau was blessed as well. “Us versus Them” is never a fruitful perspective. We’ll be reminded today that we are all fragile humans, all in need of the grace of God.

When he tells his household to eliminate any idols in their midst, he sets the tone for his house. As Pastor Daniel instructs today, this underscores the importance for men to be the spiritual leaders in their homes. Jacob’s motive is to honor God, and his wives and children follow his lead. We’ll find that Jacob and his people are protected and blessed under God’s covering.

No matter how mild-mannered a person you are, anger bubbles up in all of us. If you have a hair-trigger response to others who rile you up…it’s probably the wrong reaction. As Pastor Daniel teaches today, usually the right response comes after thoughtful consideration. When you react from your flesh, a bad situation can only grow worse, like a cancer fed by anger and rage.

Reacting to being wronged with grace is totally illogical. It’s not a ‘normal’ reaction to want to bless those who do evil to us, but that’s what a believer is called to do. As Pastor Daniel reads the account of Jacob’s sons delivering vengeance on the man who violated their sister…we’ll have to let go of our fleshly response in order to come to an understanding of what Jesus would do.
