Jesus is Real Radio with Daniel Fusco

The scenario Pastor Daniel just described is gruesome to say the least! But, it DOES help us understand the severity of loving in words only. In this day and age in which we live it is vitally important that we love in word AND deed! Jesus didn't just tell us that He loved us...NO!...He was all in...He showed us perfect love by living a righteous life and then dying in our place. Our response to this sort of love is a life of obedience to God!

Pastor Daniel just quoted John Stott...truth without love is brutality and love without truth is hypocrisy. This thought provoking quote will really undergird Pastor Daniel's point in today's message. Just saying you love someone doesn't mean much...are you ready to ACT upon that love? Are you ready to speak the truth EVEN when it causes friction? Brothers and sisters, we need to be faithfully AND lovingly declaring the truths of Jesus to everyone we encounter!

Ouch...that hurts! And yet, it's absolutely true! The first century believer's in Jesus didn't call one another Christians. They were called Christians by those outside of the family of faith because they acted like Jesus! Could that be said of you? Does your life reflect who Jesus is? Pastor Daniel will share an important exhortation in today's study...Jesus gave His all, so we should follow His example. Jesus was all in...we should be too!

Did Pastor Daniel just describe you? Do you find yourself constantly experiencing dissatisfaction in your relationships? Does it seem like no one can do anything right? Truly grace filled relationships are the result of knowing that it's God love that has made a way for you to be a part of His family. Self worth and self exaltation is at the forefront of our society. So much of what we're experiencing in our culture is based upon a wrong understanding of self. Pastor Daniel brings some clarity to this subject by sharing with us what the Bible says. We'll learn that our worth is based upon not our own merit...but, the worthiness and faithfulness of the God we serve. If you choose to approach God by faith through Jesus, you have been given the right to be called a son or daughter of God...you're now a part of His family.

Faithfulness is something that we all struggle with from time to time. But, the glorious truth about Jesus is that even when we are faithless, He remains faithful. This is part of what defines us as the Body of Christ. We are a family IN HIM because of His faithfulness. And our response to that truth should be grace and mercy to those that we deem less loveable. Like Pastor Daniel just said, sometimes, we're quick to give up on people...Jesus never gives up, He's always faithful!

What Pastor Daniel just said deserves repeating...God's upward mobility plan is downward mobility. This is one of the amazing paradigms of the Christian faith. In order to be great in God's kingdom, we must learn to be servants of all. Today Pastor Daniel will continue to share with us about the humanity of Jesus and how He perfectly lived...leaving us an example that we can follow. Pastor Daniel will exhort us to respond to Jesus because He was a person just like you and I while being God at the same time.

Pastor Daniel just described all of us...it doesn't matter who you are...man, woman, child, young, or old...you have and will continue to experience temptation. And Jesus was no different. One of the wonders of His humanity is that He was tempted in all points as we are, yet He was without sin. This glorious truth should bring us comfort. We have a Savior who truly know what it is to be tempted. We can respond to Him by turning to Him when we're tempted...seeking His strength to say NO to sin.

In the last edition of Jesus is Real Radio Pastor Daniel shared with us from God's Word the plain evidence that Jesus is God...He was God in the flesh. In today's message Pastor Daniel will begin talking about the humanity of our Savior. And the balance between His humanity and His divinity is something that has been debated for ages. Each person must initially respond to the Person of Jesus to begin new life in God.
