When Shawna was in her early 20’s she was crippled by anxiety. Over the years Jesus has chipped away at those deep insecurities and has given her the deeply rooted identity of being Abba’s beloved daughter. It’s a conversation about how the risen Jesus is alive and at work in us.
Then Cold Case Detective, J Warner Wallace was an atheist at 35. But someone described Jesus as “a wise sage,” and it caused him to read the gospels. What captured him about the gospels is that they read like real history from people who were there. It launched him on a journey to find out the truth using his cold case detective skills.
Next, if you feel like you’re just not enough, that you don’t have anything to bring to the table, that your voice doesn’t matter, that your little life just doesn’t move the needle at all, if that’s you, it’s a conversation about how all of that is just not true! Finally, J Warner Wallace had one big hurdle to jump to put his faith in Jesus. It was his bias against the miraculous.
