Today we talked about how Jesus was the perfect mentor. He opened up His life to others. They were able to learn from His ways when He was teaching and in all of life’s in between moments as well. He also let those He was mentoring do stuff. He created opportunities for others and shared right out the gate that they would do what He was doing too. Jesus was also a great mentee! He said that He only did what He saw the Father doing.  We want to be like Jesus!  Scott shared how having someone believe in Him and encourage him helped him to become the radio announcer he is today. And Shawna shared how a good friend and mentor had so invested in her life that when they shared they saw an area of her life that didn’t look like Jesus, she was able to learn from their wisdom.  And she shared how grateful she is today that they loved her enough to have the courage to speak truth into her life.
