Cam believes that to critique the Winnipeg Jets accurately this past season you need to separate the pre-Olympic and the post-Olympic schedule.

While both are apart of the bigger picture, there are some stark differences.

Cam got an interesting off-air call after running out of time on Free-for-All Friday. Bob checked in with a different perspective, pushing back on the idea that a high first-round pick should be used in a win-now move. He pointed to names like Mark Scheifele, Jacob Trouba, and Nikolaj Ehlers -- players the Jets landed at 7th, 8th, and 9th overall -- and what they’ve meant to the organization. In his view, moving that kind of asset, even with short-term needs, is a risk that doesn’t make sense.

Cam and Jim dig into that debate and ask the bigger question -- do you hold the pick, or cash it in to try and take a step right now?

The guys also welcome Jets prospect and Manitoba Moose forward Parker Ford to the show. He looks back on their play-in series win over Milwaukee and ahead to a best-of-five matchup with the top-seeded Grand Rapids Griffins, a series that has all the makings of a battle.
