This podcast traces the history of the monsters as they evolved between the two publications, noting what has changed and what has stayed constant.This particular episode focuses on the Gelatinous Cube, that grotesque shambling blob of acid goop, and how it’s described in the 1st and 5th edition monster manuals, how you can use it in your games, and what interesting things new writers are doing with it.
