Jia Wertz won numerous awards for her debut documentary, CONVICTION, which tells the story of Jeff Deskovic, and the aftermath of his wrongful conviction. Jeff was a guest on DIE-ALOGUE, so it was a special thrill to see his story told in this way. Jia shares what led her to pick up filmmaking, her passion for criminal justice reform, and how Serial Season 1 had a direct connection to her beginning this film.
