NT Apostolic Authority

Apostles had no authority then or today, other than what Scripture declares

Apostle’s only purpose for authority then or today, is to build up Believers

True apostles then or today, are the humblest of all spiritual leaders

The only proof needed for being an apostle, then or today, is birthing a church

Wife Directive 4 ~ The Marriage Question

How To Get The Speaking Gifts?

If you have not read the previous Church & Leaders articles, you need to in order to know where all the following is biblically documented:

* All spiritual leaders (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers) were first recognized as qualified elders, also called overseers.

* God gave the initial speaking gift (teaching), to men only when they were first biblically qualified to be an elder/overseer.

* There are two general kinds of gifts - serving gifts, which all Believers receive upon salvation and speaking gifts, which all spiritual leaders first receive when becoming an elder/overseer, a spiritual leader.

* There are 5 spiritual leadership speaking gifts - apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher.

* The NT missionary model was dramatically different then man’s modern day missionary organizational models.

God's Civil Mandate ~ Is That Possible?

We looked previously in depth at God's Civil Mandate ~ Jesus's Great Commission. And in it we saw we could accurately translate the Greek with words that give a clearer understanding, especially identifying the pronouns. It then read as follows (Mat. 28:18-20):

“Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority and power in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore, go and teach all nations, overwhelming nations in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching nations to obey all I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the very end of the age!’"
