There have been many Christian nations, states, and city-states. You will be amazed to know what they were like and can be like today.

This reviews the downfall of America consistent with the direct decline of Christianity.

NO… BAD PEOPLE avoid religion & politics to not be divisive!

Jesus said: “Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division!” (Luke 12:51).

But isn’t the Gospel called the “gospel of peace” (Eph. 6:15)? Yes, but it’s the “peace of God… which guards your heart and mind in Christ Jesus” (Phil. 4:7). It’s peace in your heart when reconciled with God. But the Gospel causes division in the world - with those who reject Christ versus those who accept Christ.

Why is it that only religion and politics are divisive? Because both are God’s domain, whether you realize it or not. But Satan knows, that’s why he is always trying to destroy them both. Both are spiritual - one relates to God’s institution of the church and the other to God’s institution of the nation. Jesus is to be “Head” of the church (Eph.1:22 ) and “Head” of the nation (Col.2:10).

His very name - LORD JESUS - declares both:

* JESUS means “Savior.” He is now to be our personal Savior, and once saved we are members of His church, which He is Head.

* LORD means “Ruler” or “King.” And He is “KING of kings.” This means Jesus is now our nation’s Head civil RULER. And we are members of God’s appointed nation, a nation to “seek God” (Acts 17:26-27).

The GOSPEL has two purposes as well:

* The Gospel tells us the only way to save an individual: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes… Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost” (Rom. 1:16; Titus 3:5). His death on the cross paid for our sins so we can now and forever be reconciled with God the Father.

* The Gospel tells us the only way to save a nation: “But we know that God’s Law is good if one uses it lawfully, knowing this: that the Law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, according to the glorious gospel” (1Tim. 1:8-11).

Evangelicals know #1. But to the demise of all our future and all our families, most evangelicals know nothing and do nothing about #2.

Do you think preachers will not be held accountable before God who have neglected declaring the whole counsel of God? Preachers laid the foundation for starting this nation as a Christian nation and especially Christian states.

Many preachers today are like the religious leaders in Jesus’s day, when He told His disciples: “Leave them; they are blind leaders. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit” (Mat. 15:14).

* In the 16th century - European Reformation preachers died to found Protestant Christian nations in Europe.

* In the 17th century - Pilgrim preachers died in founding Christian colonies in America.

* In the 18th century - Christian preachers died helping found Christian America.

* In the 21st century - Preachers are more fearful of losing someone’s tithe than losing their whole Christian nation.

Most preachers today are not even addressing the political issues, or even realize ALL political issues are ALL biblical issues. They’re fearful of identifying the specific unrighteousness of political candidates. They’re fearful of the Left and blind in seeing the Left as a religious cult and their political candidates as cult leaders. They’re even fearful to organize a voter registration for all their congregants and help make sure they all get to the polls to vote.

Statistically today over 50% of all evangelical congregants totally ignore voting. Will God not hold their Shepherds responsible for literally opening the doors for the unrighteous to walk in and take over God’s largest institution, “a nation” - the American nation? How tragic… when today the nation of America could so easily be saved.

“Don’t be deceived - God will not be mocked, whatever you sow that shall you reap.” Gal. 6:7

Democrat Senator, Jefferson Davis from Mississippi, became the President of the Confederacy. He stated: “African slavery, as it exists in the United States, is a moral, a social, and a political blessing.”

Southern Democrats passed ALL the Black Code Laws, also called the "Jim Crow Laws", referring to a 1828 New Orleans riverboat song, "Jump Jim Crow":

Virginia Democrat Legislature in 1819 passed their Black Code Law:

“Be it passed: That all meetings of slaves, or free negroes or mulattoes mixing with such slaves, at any meetinghouse or school for teaching them reading or writing, either in the day or night, for any reason, shall be deemed an unlawful assembly.

And any officer of the law may have permission to enter the house to arrest or send off such slaves, and to punish them with up to twenty lashes."

North Carolina Democrat Legislature in 1825 passed their Black Code Law:

"No slave shall go armed with gun, sword, club, or other weapon ... (The) constable ... (is) required ... to give such slave twenty lashes on his or her bare back."

Georgia Democrat Legislature in 1833 passed their Black Code Law:

“The free person of color ... carrying fire-arms, shall receive on his bare back, thirty-nine lashes.”

Alabama Democrat Legislature 1833 passed their Black Code Law:

"No slave shall keep or carry any gun... Every such offender shall receive ... any number of lashes not exceeding thirty-nine, on his bare back."

Mississippi Democrat Legislature in 1865 passed their Black Code Law:

"No freedman, Negro, or mulatto shall carry or keep firearms or ammunition."

Florida Democrat Legislature in 1865 passed their Black Code Law:

"It shall not be lawful for any negro, mulatto, or other person of color, to own, use or keep in his possession or under his control any fire-arms or ammunition of any kind ... Any negro ... so offending, ... shall be sentenced to stand in the pillory for one hour, or be whipped, not exceeding thirty-nine stripes."

The Democrat controlled United States Congress in 1850 passed the infamous Fugitive Slave Act, pushed through by Democrat Speaker Howell Cobb and Democrat Senate President William King, and signed by Democrat President Millard Fillmore:

If a runaway slave escaped to the North, citizens must capture him and return him to his Southern slave owner. It made it a federal crime to interfere with the slave catchers' recovery of runaway slaves. A person could be fined $1,000 (@ $20,000 today’s money) and imprisoned for six months if they failed to report a neighbor suspected of helping slaves.

After the Fugitive Slave Act was law in 1854, a slave named Joshua Glover ran away from his master in St. Louis, Missouri, and fled to Racine, Wisconsin. Police from St. Louis traveled across state lines to Racine and bribed an acquaintance of Joshua Glover with $100 (@ $2,000 today’s money) to open the cabin door. Taking him by surprise, they hit him and clubbed him several times in the face.

The bleeding Glover was thrown in the back of a wagon and taken to the Milwaukee jail. The kind jailer treated his wounds. The next day, word of Glover’s arrest spread through Racine. A crowd of white abolitionists, the largest crowd ever in the town’s history gathered in the square. They grabbed lumber and pickaxes from a nearby construction site and broke through the jail wall, freeing Glover. He was quickly put in a wagon and whisked out of town.

In March 22, 1854, The Sauk County Standard in Baraboo, Wisconsin, printed the Glover story: After nine stops on the Underground Railroad, Joshua Glover made it to the Racine harbor where he was smuggled onto a boat headed across Lake Michigan to Canada.

The Glover incident helped galvanize abolitionist sentiment in Wisconsin. This case eventually led the state supreme court to defy the federal government by declaring the Fugitive Slave Act unconstitutional.

A few days after Joshua Glover was freed, the same Wisconsin abolitionists citizens met on March 20, 1854, in a schoolhouse in Ripon, Wisconsin, to form the anti-slavery party. They called it - the Republican Party.

Contrary to the Left’s 1619 Project and its historical revisionism - slavery was NOT a black versus white issue - it was a Republican versus Democrat issue.

The first National Republican Convention met in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on February 22, 1856, calling Americans to:

"Resist and overthrow the present National Administration (of Democrat President Franklin Pierce) as it is identified with the progress of the slave power to national supremacy."

The original Republican Platform was adopted June 18, 1856. It was the first political Party in history to have abolition of slavery in its official Party Platform.

On March 6, 1857, the Supreme Court issued their infamous Dred Scott decision with the 7 Democrat justices voting for it and the 2 Republican judges voting against it. 

Pro-slavery, Chief Justice Roger Taney, who had been appointed by Democrat President Jackson, wrote that Dred Scott was not a citizen, but property and belonged to his owner, writing in his decision that slaves were: "... so far inferior ... that the Negro might justly and lawfully be reduced to slavery for their own benefit."

Abraham Lincoln was the first Republican President. He declared in Springfield, Illinois, June 26, 1857:

"How differently the respective courses of the Democratic and Republican parties ... Republicans inculcate ... that the Negro is a man; that his bondage is cruelly wrong ... Democrats deny his manhood."

In September 22, 1862, Lincoln drafted the Emancipation Proclamation:

“The time for the annunciation of the emancipation policy can no longer be delayed. Public sentiment will sustain it, many of my warmest friends and supporters demand it, and I have promised God that I will do it.”

The Emancipation Proclamation, in part read:

“I, Abraham Lincoln, President of the United States… publicly proclaim ... that ... persons held as slaves ... are, and henceforward shall be, free ... And upon this act ... I invoke ... the gracious favor of Almighty God.”

The renowned Black educator Booker T. Washington wrote in 1901:

“The first knowledge that I got of the fact that we were slaves, was early one morning before day, when I was awakened by my mother kneeling over her children and fervently praying that Lincoln and his armies might be successful, and that one day she and her children might be free.”

After the famous Frederick Douglass escaped from slavery, he became an outspoken Republican and the first Black advisor to a President, Republican President Abraham Lincoln.

Lincoln promoted the Republican Congress in passing the 13TH AMENDMENT to the U.S. Constitution to abolish slavery, effective December 6, 1865.

The 13th Amendment to free the slaves:

* Republicans voted 100% - “YES”.

* Democrats voted 85% - “NO”.

The 14th Amendment to give citizenship to the Blacks:

* Republicans voted 100% - “YES”.

* Democrats voted 100% - “NO”.

The 15th Amendment to guarantee the right to vote for the Blacks:

* Republicans voted 100% - “YES”.

* Democrats voted 100% - “NO”.

But the most meaningful “vote” the Republicans ever gave for all Blacks was - the 360,222, mostly white Republican men, who gave up their lives to free all the Black slaves.

In Charleston, South Carolina, a mass grave was uncovered of 257 Republican Union soldiers who had died in a prison camp. On May 1, 1865, former slaves organized a parade, led by 2,800 singing black children, in which they prayed, read Bible verses, sang spirituals, and reburied the soldiers with honor as an act of gratefulness for their ultimate sacrifice which gave them their freedom.

On February 5, 1866, Republican Congressman Thaddeus Stevens introduced legislation to give former slaves "40 acres and a mule." This would have greatly helped the former slaves. All Democrats opposed the Order. Moreover, soon as Democrat Andrew Johnson became President he rescinded the Order.

The Ku Klux Klan was founded by a Democrat, Nathan Bedford Forrest. As historian Eric Foner - himself a Democrat - notes: “In effect, the Klan was a military force serving the interests of the Democratic Party.” Republican President Grant started the Department of Justice with the special intent to end the Klu Klux Klan.

In the beginning of the 20th century, President Woodrow Wilson, a Democrat, shared many views with the Klan. He re-segregated many federal agencies, and even screened the first movie ever played at the White House - the racist film “The Birth of a Nation,” originally entitled “The Clansman.”

Robert Cottrol, professor of law at George Washington University, stated:

“Some of the earliest gun control legislation was aimed directly at black people… the Black Codes, among other things… prohibited the newly freed black population from having weapons ...

One of the principal reasons for the 14TH AMENDMENT was to attack the Black Codes and also apply the Bill of Rights, specifically the Second Amendment to the states.”

Today’s Black Republican Congressman Burgess Owens, who played in the NFL for the New York Jets and the Oakland Raiders, was quoted in Yahoo Sports, June 19, 2019:

"(On) the concept of reparations ...

'I used to be a Democrat until I did my history and found the misery that party brought to my race ...

Let's pay restitution. How about the Democratic Party pay for all the misery brought to my race?'"

Restitution or reparations for unrelated later generations is anti-biblical (Ezekiel 18:19-23). But even at the time, those most worthy would have been been - the 360,222 families of mostly white Republican men, who gave up their lives - to free the Black slaves.

God’s prophet Jeramiah said (Jer. 15:19), “to extract the precious from the worthless.” Jesus said (John 10:10), “The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy.” The Democrat Party did this from their beginning, and now their co-conspirator universities and media, are helping them even steal, kill, and destroy more Blacks:

In the past, white hooded Klu Klux Klan - ALL Democrats, lynched and killed several thousand Blacks.

Today, white shirt Democrats - ALL vote in lockstep to literally kill Blacks - federal funded Planned Parenthood centers, disproportionately locate next to Black communities - having killed over 20,000,000 Black Babies since 1973.

Today, white shirt Democrats - ALL vote in lockstep for more perpetual “welfare” crumbs, destroying Blacks - destined to forever be poor and dependent on their present day Democrat slave masters (2 Democrat Slave Plantations).

Doctor Carol Swain, Black professor of political science and law at Vanderbilt University:

“When you think about racial equality and civil rights, which political party comes to mind? The Republicans? Or, the Democrats? Most people would probably say the Democrats. But this answer is incorrect. Since its founding in 1829, the Democratic Party has fought against every major civil rights initiative, and has a long history of discrimination. The Democratic Party defended slavery, started the Civil War, opposed Reconstruction, founded the Ku Klux Klan, imposed segregation, perpetrated lynchings, and fought against the civil rights acts of the 1950s and 1960s.

“So now, the Democratic Party prospers on the votes of the very people it has spent much of its history oppressing. Democrats falsely claim that the Republican Party is the villain, when in reality it’s the failed policies of the Democratic Party that have kept blacks down. Massive government welfare has decimated the black family. Opposition to school choice has kept them trapped in failing schools. Politically correct policing has left black neighborhoods defenseless against violent crime. So, when you think about racial equality and civil rights, which political party should come to mind?”

 “Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them.”

I have about a thousand Substack Subscribers - and I thank the Lord for all - Pastors, national NGO’s and CEO’s, and many others like me, as 1Cor. 1:26ff describes:

Not many of you (and me) were wise by human standards; not many were powerful; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are…”

How wonderful that even the lowest of us God delights in showing His power through, to bring down the mighty. May God help us to be humble as we ought and realize He can and wants to use any of us who are willing, for His mission and glory.

I feel a little challenged to write to such a diverse crowd of Followers, and from all races - Blacks, Whites, Hispanics, Asians etc. And many of you I have not met, but I do appreciate and love you all and pray God’s blessing for us and our nation during this critical time in our history.

I like to have open comments, positive or negative, yet most come to me privately. This was also true with the last article I wrote - Why Every Black Person Should Praise These White Republican Christian Men. Thanks for the lesson in Black history, from a white man's perspective.

For the record, we are not that ignorant and gullible, and never have been. The assertion is overwhelmingly insulting.

I think you are aware that the southern "Dixiecrats" fled to and took over the Republican party when the Democrats embraced social change. 

You may not recall Nixon's dirty deal with the "Dixiecrats" that sealed the deal and put him in office. Read "Nixon's Piano" for the details. Yes, Nixon and Reagan called us monkeys, good Republicans.

Also understand why I don't "praise" the Union soldiers. Very few of them had no regard for black people, check the facts.  Lincoln himself said that if he could save the Union and not free any slaves he would. He saw Blacks as in no way equal to Whites. Read up on it.

Next, you will praise Lincoln for freeing the Blacks, he freed no one, read the emancipation proclamation, it did not free people in the states where he had power. Maryland and Kentucky remained free to enslave.

Another reason I don't trust the good meaning Republicans. They always have a slant on the truth.

PLEASE stop telling us what is good for us! It is patronizing, belittling and insulting.

I think we all would be better served if Christian Messengers spent time telling white Evangelical Republicans how they have lost their souls and now worship the flag and Trump.

Please remind them about GOD and Jesus. Take them back to the sermon on the mount. Tell them about blessed are the meek.

I really do appreciate your feedback. But I would like to make a couple comments. One, I do not view your comments less credible or even prejudice because you are black. I’m sorry if you feel my thoughts are prejudice because they came “from a white man’s perspective.” If I’m off in any way it is not because I have any prejudice on skin colors. Actually, there are many Blacks now that have previously reported on everything I also have in this article, and some saying it much stronger than I have. But black or white makes no difference to God (or me), only being true biblically.

But just a thought about Republicans, there are plenty of them that need to be redeemed to say the least. I don’t have the time now to question every point you made, though I am aware of most if not all, and neither do I question a lot of what you said.

However, without looking at certain acts of certain individuals, here and there, Republican or otherwise, I would hope you’re not rejecting that historically overall, the Democrat Party was the pro-slave party, the pro- Jim Crow party, and dominate ever since the 60’s to today in pushing welfare programs that statically has only perpetuated poverty and especially with the Blacks.

Just a final thought, I don’t think you should assume - if someone is white, and knows historical America and the flag it represents - how America from 1620 until near the end of the 20th century - believes it has been the greatest nation on earth, promoted Christianity more than any other nation on earth, and believes that Trump promotes what’s right far more than Harris… such persons should be so condemned as having “lost their souls and now worship the flag and Trump.”

This November will be a turning point one way or the other. May I ask you a question? Though I think I probably see faults in Trump no less than you evidently do, considering what you have written, I’m wondering if you think a knowledgeable Bible believing genuine Christin should vote for Harris?

(I could have said a lot more but saving it for my next article. However, I maybe should have at least also responded to his comment about Jesus and the Sermon on the Mount, that Christians should only talk “about blessed are the meek.” I might have reminded him what Jesus said to pray for in His sermon, God’s “will be done on earth as it is in heaven” and show how much Jesus was a political activist. Political issues are indeed spiritual and biblical issues, no less than church issues.)

“The Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.”

It was the Southern Democrats that demanded Black slavery to maintain their plantations. As a result the Republican Party was founded by abolitionists to abolish slavery, and Abraham Lincoln was their first President.

Then there was the Civil War, technically over state rights but practically so the Southern Democrats could maintain their plantation slaves. The Southern Democrats lost the war. The Blacks were now free.

So the Southern Democrat states did the next best thing they could do to keep the Blacks in a new type of bondage - political bondage. The Southern Democrats immediately started setting up state laws in the South which were called Jim Crow laws. These laws did two things:

* Practically, they kept the Blacks as second-class citizens and in destitute to have continued cheap plantation labors.

* They impeded the Blacks from being able to vote and unable to change the Jim Crow Southern state laws, thus continuing to be able to have cheap Black labor for their plantations.

Finally, with the media exposing what the Southern Democrats were doing with their unjust Jim Crow laws and the strong Republican opposition, in the 1960’s the federal government annulled the Southern Democrat state laws with federal civil right laws for all American citizens. This put the Blacks in full equal footing with the Southern Democrats and all others. However, at this time most Blacks had little understanding about the whole political system or even that it was only one political party, the Democrat Party, that had been their enemy from the beginning.

Now the Democrat Party had to do something dramatically and immediately before the majority of Blacks understood and would unite with Republicans to put the Democrats out of power indefinitely. The Democrats could not any longer keep Blacks from voting so the only alternative was to “pay” Blacks to vote for them - entitlements, welfare, “give them cake” - that would do it!

Simultaneously with the new civil right laws the Democrat Party’s new strategy was to immediately transform itself from being enemy to the new “compassionate” Party - the primary Party for big government entitlements and welfare. Give the poor Blacks enough to survive, in virtually keeping them Democrat welfare dependent slaves, the Democrats new permanent slave voting block. This was the Democrats “big bait and switch”.

Now the Blacks knew they had been slaves and then oppressed with the Jim Crow laws for years after that. This was obviously a highly raw subject to Blacks. They would naturally feel hostility for whoever was responsible for their slavery and then not even having full civil rights for a long time after that.

The Democrat Party knew this could be their end unless they could divert and deflect the past slavery and Jim Crow laws off of them. This is where the indoctrination started - America was bad and all its founding Fathers were bad, in fact some of them were even slave holders. The new make-over “Democrat Party” now became the transformed “compassionate” Party, and “America” became the scapegoat.

This of course all played right into the Communist, Leftists, and Socialists, who truly did want to blame traditional America for everything. They want to totally destroy America and all its Christian influence. So the Democrats were glad to have the Leftists join in their chorus in making America the boogeyman. But the Leftists now have completely taken over the whole Democrat Party.

The Democrat Party knew it could not surview if the majority of Blacks every fully understood their true history. Today the vast majority of Blacks still do not know. Most Blacks still love the Democrats and receiving their welfare crumbs, though many are starting to flee their Democrat plantations. But Joseph Goebbels would have been amazed at how thoroughly the Democrats overnight revised their image and indoctrinated the nation.

However, in thinking of true America, here are a few things that are seldom if ever mentioned:

* This does not justify the Democrats enslaving the Blacks in any way, but prior to the Civil War, at that time in history, slavery was common place all over the world and had been since the beginning of time and still is today in many countries.

* Despite the slave supporting Democrats, American was an amazing nation - being one of the first nations in the world to outlaw slavery, and only because America was so much of a Christian nation.

* The abolition movement to free the slaves, was fundamentally and primarily a Christian movement.

* And over 300,000 Americans, mostly white Republican Christian men, died in freeing all the Black people.

* No nation in the world, other than America, has ever made such a great unselfish sacrifice for the benefit of a minority race or for any race.

Most don’t think or even know about the above, much less praise America and the white Republican Christian men for their great sacrifice in freeing all Black Americans. If anybody should appreciate and honor America and most specifically those white Republican Christian men, every Black American should.

Biblically, no later generation is to pay any reparations (Ezekiel 18:14-20). But if when reparations should have been paid, those most worthy would have been the 300,000 American families of mostly white Republican Christian men who died getting freedom for the Blacks.

Black Americans now happen to live in the greatest nation in the world, where even Blacks from all over the world are clambering to get here. Not one Black African nation has ever done so much for Black people as has America, and specifically those white Republican Christian men. Anyone who recoils at this refuses to accept the fact of history, or only wants to perpetuate their own self-serving myths.

Every person who reads our history, knows how the Marxist’s Democrats, college professors and legacy media have joined with the Democrats in propagandizing Black people since the 60’s in overwhelming them with their bait-and-switch (2 Democrat Slave Plantations).

If 300,000 mostly white Republican Christian men died for what was right and true during America’s Civil War - certainly EVERY white (and black) Christian man living - ought today to proclaim what is true! Only one side… is soon going to win this new civil war.

If there was something #Christians could easily do that would Christianize America but do not do it - wouldn’t Christians then be responsible for America’s ungodliness?

“What is the voting block strategy? There are - 90 million evangelicals in the U.S., 40 million that don’t vote, and 50 million that aren’t even registered to vote. So what’s our plan to harness those votes for you in November?”

And Trump replied:

“If they would vote, nobody could beat you!”

On or by this November 5, 2024, every Christian has a God given opportunity to #VOTE for every person we want to rule America. Though there are millions of non-Christians that will also be #voting, if even most of the #evangelical Christians in America voted, that would be enough to have every local, state, and national civil office in America filled with leaders who truly honor God, i.e. #biblical policies.

That would begin the Christianization blessing of America in a single day - for which original America was founded.

Every Christian is commanded to “pursue righteousness” (2Tim. 2:22) - to pursue righteousness for our nation would be to vote, and for those who’s policies are most #biblical. “Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it” (James 4:17).

It seems everyone but #Christians are aware of the negligent sleeping giant Christians. And none are more aware of it and fear it more than the radical Left Democrats - hoping sleeping Christians never wake up. It’s no wonder so many non-Christians on the Left mock Christians and think how stupid Christians are. They think:

How stupid are the Christians and especially the 90 million Evangelicals to let us control them - even tax them to grow our pagan policies over them!

How stupid are these Christians thinking their god is going to protect them so they don’t need to do anything!

Though God always gave great victories to David of old, David also had to always fight. Even as the apostle James said for us today, “Faith without works is dead… don’t be a hearer only but also a doer.”
