Since no one can be saved by keeping God’s Law, “for everyone has sinned and fallen short of God glorious standard” (Rom. 3:23), many Christians have been taught once they’re saved, they don’t need to keep God’s Law. For sure we don’t do it to get saved or to keep saved … but because we ARE saved.

Throughout the New Testament where it indicates we are no longer under the Law, it is always in context of salvation, “no longer being under the judgment or curse of the Law” once we’re in Christ. The ceremonial part of God’s Law we do not keep, as it was all fulfilled in Christ. But with all God’s moral Law, He saved us to keep. God did not save us to be lawless or to feel freedom to disobey His Law.

Below are 21 questions that you may not have considered before, especially if you believe God’s Law has been abolished under God’s New Covenant:

1. Has heaven and earth passed away – “For truly I say unto you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Law until all be fulfilled” (Mat. 5:18).

2. How can you know what God will call you in heaven – “Whoever shall break one of the least of commandments and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven” (Mat. 5:19).

3. What is the most important thing to the Lord Jesus – “Not everyone who says unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name? And in Your name have cast out demons? And in Your name done many wonderful works? And then I will say unto them, ‘I never knew you: Get away from me, you who break God’s Law’” (Mat. 7:21-23).

4. How do you love Jesus – “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15).

5. How do you abide in Jesus’ love – “If you keep My commandments, you shall abide in My love…” (John 15:10).

6. Do you promote what gives complete knowledge and truth – “…God’s Law gives you complete knowledge and truth” (Rom. 2:20).

7. Do you ignore or promote what identifies sin – “… by the Law is the knowledge of sin” (Rom. 3:20).

8. How do you know if you exhibit true faith – “Do we then nullify the Law through faith? May it never be! On the contrary, we establish the Law” (Rom. 3:31).

9. Will you promote what is holy, righteous, and good – “So then, the Law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good” (Rom.7:12).

10.How can you know if you’re spiritual – “For we know that the Law is spiritual…” (Rom. 7:14).

11.How do you know you’re walking in the flesh vs the Spirit – “That the righteousness of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but according to the Spirit” (Rom. 8:4).

12. When can you not be hostile to God - “For the carnal mind is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law” (Rom. 8:7).

13.When can you do what matters to God - “Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but what matters is the keeping of the commandments of God” (1Cor. 7:19).

14.What is good to use – “We know that the Law is good when used lawfully” (1Tim. 1:8).

15.Does God separate you from the Law with the New Covenant – “But this is the new covenant I will make… says the Lord: I will put My laws in their minds, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be My people” (Heb. 8:10).

16.How can we know that we have come to know the Lord – “By this we know that we have come to know Lord, if we keep His commandments” (1John 3:3).

17.How do we sin - “Whoever commits sin also transgresses the Law: for sin is the transgression of the Law” (1John 3:4).

18.How do we love Christians – “By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments” (1John 5:2).

19.How do we love God – “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not burdensome” (1John 5:3).

20.Who holds to the testimony of Jesus - “So the dragon was enraged with the woman and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus” (Rev. 12:17).

21.What are two things that true saints persevere in - “Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus” (Rev. 14:12).

To conclude, Jesus was asked (Mat. 22:36-40):

Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?

Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.

Now Christians who say, we don’t have to keep the Law - then they would never love God or their neighbor.

All the above shows how following God’s Law makes a Christian godly. That was the primary purpose of this writing. However, there are even more Old and New Testament verses that show, if a nation follows God’s Law, God will make a nation blessed and great. We’ll close with just two of such verses (Ps. 33:12; Pr. 14:34):

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.

Godliness makes a nation great.

The word “politics” is from Ancient Greek πολιτικά (politiká) and literally means “cities” and “affairs of the cities or nations.” It is the way that people living in cities or nation-states make planned decisions.

The Greek “polis” means "citadel, city, or community," from a root meaning "citadel or hilltop."

The “polis” (plural poleis), or city-state, was the dominant political unit in the ancient Greek world. It was commonly agreed that a “polis” is a community of citizens organized under a constitution, usually based in an urban center.

In Ancient Greece, the word “polis” indicated a city-state – such as Sparta and Athens – a self-governing unit. But it also meant more; the word “polis” also encompassed the concepts of both the rights and the obligations of the citizens. Aristotle considered the goodness of a “polis” in terms of whether it promotes the good life of citizens.

If this is what “politics” is all about and the Bible does not address this, than the Bible has little relevance to life here and now. And guess what? That’s what most non-Christians think about the Bible and Christianity. Worse yet, that’s also how most Christians view the Bible - irrelevant to politics i.e. “the affairs of our city or nation” - that politics is unspiritual.

So why did God have the vast majority of His Word, over 75%, written about the affairs of city and state? Over 75% of the Bible, Exodus to Acts, is written exclusively about the city of Jerusalem, the state of Israel, and other nations.

Why were Jesus’s last words (Mat. 28:18-20): “Go and make disciples of all nations”? Jesus did NOT say go disciple all churches or even all people, but rather “all… nations.” That has to unequivocally include - POLITICS, the affairs of cities and nations.

Thus, Jesus commands Christians to effect the politics and governance of cities and nations today. And when Jesus returns… only Christians will govern cities, as Jesus said in Luke 19:15-19:

“When He returned… the King exclaimed. ‘You are a good servant. You have been faithful with the little I entrusted to you, so you will be governor of ten cities… and to another He said, you will be governor over five cities.’”

In the Old Testament it is about the affairs of cities and nations. In the New Testament Jesus commands us to disciple “all nations.” And Paul and the Christians were doing exactly that (Acts 17:6-7):

“They dragged Jason and some other believers before the city officials, shouting: “These men who have caused trouble all over the world have now come here, and Jason has welcomed them into his house. They are all defying Caesar’s decrees, saying that there is another king, one called Jesus.”

Why do some assume Biblical instruction about church issues or family issues is spiritual but instructing about national political issues is unspiritual or less spiritual? From Exodus to Acts was totally in the context of God’s Law and national and political issues, not to speak of continual references thereafter.

Moreover, most Christians don’t know that God ordained not 2 but 3 institutions for today: family, state, and church. And God did NOT ordain anything to be unholy or ruled by Satan at any time.

If a church is unholy, God’s people will be condemned if they neglect to work at turning God’s church around to be ruled by men subject to the “Chief Shepherd.” If a state is unholy, God’s people will be condemned if they neglect to work at turning God’s state around to be ruled by men subject to the “King of kings.”

It might be stated, that if pastors were preaching, “the whole counsel of God” (Acts 20:27), they would be preaching 3 out of 4 sermons on God’s Law and our national political issues, since 75% of God’s whole counsel, Exodus to Acts, was in the context of God’s Law and national/political issues. This is not to suggest that Jesus Christ is not central to that and the whole Bible - for He is “the Word… and the Word became flesh.” (John 1:1,14).

However, the BIBLICAL political issues of today may be more important to address than any other time since the founding of our nation, since the unrighteous non-Christians are in the final stages of completely taking over one of God’s ordained institutions - our nation/state America.

Even the Greek New Testament word for “church” (ekklēsia), which Jesus used in Matthew 16:18, to build His church, came from Aristotle’s time in Athens when people would regularly get together to discuss the political affairs of the city and what they were to do. And of course Jesus Himself publicly and continually addressed the political issues of His day. Jesus was doing this every time He was contesting with the Pharisees (who were the political leaders in His day - Mat. 23:2) about the Mosaic Law (which was the civil law of Judea at that time).

To my dear pastor friends, might your church become more relevant today to the outside world and more of the outside world come to hear you speak - if 3 out of 4 of your messages today were on the relevance of the “whole counsel of God” i.e. God’s moral/civil Law and Biblical political issues… that’s impacting every single person every day. Sharing more of God’s Law you might even have more people saved, “convicted of sin… and fall to their knees and worship God, declaring, ‘God is truly here among you.’” (1Cor. 14:24-25).

By the way, the “churches” on the Left, “Synagogues of Satan” (Rev. 2:9, 3:9), are preaching their “social justice” laws EVERY Sunday. They’re shouting and twisting Scriptures every Sunday - motivating their whole congregations to rise up and turn our nation upside down for Satan. And they’ve about won. And they will complete their win soon… unless a critical mass of God’s people obey His call and rise up now to take back God’s state institution for our King.

“Faith (prayer) without works is useless” (James 2:17).

“The complacency of fools will destroy them” (Prov. 1:32).

I thought the Trump vs Harris debate last night was very interesting. But more honestly stated - the Trump vs Harris, Muir, and Davis debate.

Just vegging out, probably like most other viewers, while listening to the debate, it did not initially stand out to me that the debate was three against one. Moderators, Muir and Davis, did as good a job as they could tying not to make it too noticeable. But it got pretty hard to do that when they never once fact-checked Harris lying about Trump but continued to fact-check Trump. Moreover, even their fact-checking was not always right about Trump - some same day, and still today, live news feeds were validating what Trump was saying.

Making the debate even more skewed, Muir, Davis, and ABC established the rule for the debate that the debaters could not ask each other any questions. That allowed for the biggest bias of the debate to happen. Because now only Muri and Davis could bring up or ignore any damning issues of Harris, which they did - out of sight, out of mind.

But since Muir and Davis did not once fact-check Harris, I thought it appropriate we do a little fact-checking on Harris that ABC moderators never did, not once. Harris’s contradictions below are all easily accessed on many live news feeds on X (Twitter) and other outlets, with Harris contradicting herself in her own words:

* Harris lied - claiming “not one member of the United States military…is in active duty in a combat zone.”

* Harris lied - claiming she does not support a government takeover of health care.

* Harris lied - claiming she did not support a ban on fracking.

* Harris lied - claiming she did not support mandatory gun confiscation.

* Harris lied - claiming she did not support defunding the police.

* Harris lied - claiming she did not raise money to bail violent rioters out of jail during the 2020 Summer of Love.

* Harris lied - claiming President Trump promoting “Project 2025”.

* Harris lied - claiming Tim Walz didn’t legalize abortion-on-demand until birth in Minnesota.

* Harris lied - claiming President Trump wants to have a national abortion ban on IVF.

* Harris lied - claiming Trump sided with the Charlottesville 2017 protestors “spewing anti-Semitic hate.”

“When the godly are in authority, the people rejoice. But when the wicked are in power, they groan” (Prov. 29:2).

It’s amazing how Jesus cuts through things to make them so simple and clear. Jesus tells us how we can know for sure what a candidate is really like and how we can know for sure how they will really rule once they are in office.   

You don’t have to listen to any of their speeches. You don’t have to listen to any of their interviews. You don’t have to listen to any of their debates. You don’t have to listen to any of what they say.

Jesus said, ALL you need to know is this (Mat. 7:15-16):

“Beware of the false prophets (politicians), who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits.”

“YOU WILL KNOW” … by their fruit, by their actions, by what they do, by what they’ve already done, by how they already voted, by what policies they already supported.

NOT by their speeches. NOT by their talk. NOT by their promises. The Bible says (Prov. 14:15):  

“Only simpletons believe everything they hear!”

Only a fool votes based on what a candidate says. Jesus didn’t tell you who to vote for, but He told you how to be smart - knowing for sure who you’re really voting for. Don’t listen to what a candidate says - only know what they did or accomplished when in office.

And I am NOT writing here to tell you who to vote for either. I’m only saying how to be smart - listen to Jesus.

Now you lived four years under the Trump administration and now you’ve lived almost four years under the Biden/Harris administration. Which time was best? Which had better policy results? Internationally, border, health, education, economy, interest, inflation, crime, etc.?  

And if you’re a Christian, you should know who was more or less biblical. Less biblical - don’t vote for that person, no matter what either candidate may now say about themselves or each other. More biblical? Vote for that person. Not the one who sounds more biblical. “The false prophets (politicians), who come to you in sheep’s clothing” often look and sound more biblical - like sheep. That’s why Jesus said that.

But if you’re really not sure who was, and therefore would be, more or less biblical, and thereby who God would have you vote for, read what God Himself mandated for His moral Law and see who you think embraces it more. It was originally written in the Old Testament in the book of Deuteronomy - God’s Ten Commandments, Statutes, and Judgments… and in the New Testament Jesus also confirming it for today (Mat. 5:17-19), as well as the Apostle Paul, who summarizes some of it here (1Tim. 1:8-10):

“Now we know that God’s Law is good when it is used lawfully. For God’s Law was not intended for people who do what is right. It is for people who are lawless and rebels, who are ungodly and sinful, who consider nothing sacred and defile what is holy, who strike their father or mother or commit other murders. God’s Law is for people who are sexually immoral, or who practice homosexuality, or are slave traders, liars, promise breakers, or who do anything else that contradicts sound doctrine.”

Now you don’t need to waste your time any longer listening to either candidate, unless you want to see who lies in saying something different than what they have already proven for four years.

Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Your actions speak so loud I can't hear what you say.” In other words, what you’ve already done made so much noise I can’t hear you… and no, I won’t listen to all your words anymore, when I have already had four years of living proof, living under your leadership.  

 What Jesus said is the only thing that matters:

“You will know them by their fruits.”

In the 60’s, the Democrats successfully pulled off the biggest political bait-and-switch in American history.

Up to the Civil War most African-Americans were slaves on Southern Democrat Plantations. After the Civil War the slaves had the “right” to vote, but it was well documented that that the Southern Democrats used many means including fear and intimidation to keep Blacks from voting… until Democrat President Lyndon Baines Johnson came into office.

In the 60’s, as media began exposing the horrors of the Democrat’s intimidation tactics, President Lyndon Baines Johnson and political Democrat strategists began a different tactic to control minority voters - the Big Bait-and-Switch - switching from "intimidation" to "entitlement.” The bait was “entitlement”, encompassed in LBJ’s new Great Society Welfare State. Johnson bulled this through with everyone.

In Ronald Kessler's book, Inside The White House (1996), Lyndon Johnson, while on Air Force One, explained to two of his Democrat governors the big switch strategy from intimidation to entitlement, and in his private vulgar way he told them:   

"I'll have those n****rs voting Democratic for the next 200 years."

Malcolm X also exposed this liberal Democrat tactic in his 1963 address:

"The white liberal differs from the white conservative only in one way: the liberal is more deceitful, more hypocritical than the conservative.

“Both want power, but the white liberal is the one who has perfected the art of posing as the Negro's friend and benefactor, and by winning the friendship and support of the Negro, the white liberal is able to use the Negro as a pawn or a weapon in this political football game that is constantly raging between the white liberal and the white conservative.

“The American Negro is nothing but a political football and the white liberals control this ball through tricks or tokenism, false promises of integration, and civil rights.

“In this game of deceiving and using the American Negro, the white liberals have complete cooperation of the Negro civil rights leaders who sell our people out for a few crumbs of token recognition, token gains, token progress."

Manning Johnson, a black activist recruited by Marxists, but later left them to write Color, Communism and Common Sense, wrote about the same thing in 1957:

"White leftists descended on Negro communities like locusts, posing as ‘friends’ come to help 'liberate' their black brothers ... Everything was inter-racial, an inter-racialism artificially created, cleverly devised as a camouflage of the red plot to use the Negro."

Lyndon Johnson's Great Society Welfare State proceeded to enroll large numbers of minorities into entitlement programs. At first this was difficult, as most blacks at that time were proud being independent and self-reliant, and thought it demeaning to be slaves as government dependents.

George W. Carver, one of the most prominent black scientists of the early 20th, wrote in A Brief Sketch of My Life, 1922:

"I would never allow anyone to give me money, no difference how badly I needed it. I wanted literally to earn my living."

Despite the humiliation, needy Blacks succumbed to the continual enticement of the Democrats socialist give-away programs. Before the Civil War, Alexis de Tocqueville, French sociologist, traveled across the United States and warned:

"The American Republic will endure, until politicians realize they can bribe the people with their own money."

George Bernard Shaw, political critic, in the early 20th century stated:

“Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.” And "A government policy to rob Peter to pay Paul can be assured of the support of Paul."

This "bribe for votes" tactic was used by dictator Juan Perón in 1946 to seize political power in Argentina. In 1999 communist Hugo Chavez used it to seize political power in Venezuela. This has always been the Communist/Socialist Left’s strategy for seizing power. But as England’s “Iron Lady”, Margaret Thatcher, warned:

"The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”

Promotion of dependency for political purposes also led to a change in the immigration policy. In the 60’s, Lyndon Johnson also changed immigration quotas to bring in more immigrants from poorer, third world countries. These would be immediately enrolled in entitlement programs and become Democrat voters to get all the free stuff. LBJ's immigration policy change initiated a demographic transformation eerily similar to what contributed to the Fall of Rome.

Will and Ariel Durant wrote in The Story of Civilization (Vol. 3-Caesar and Christ, Simon & Schuster, 1944, p. 366):

"If Rome had not engulfed so many men of alien blood in so brief a time… If she had occasionally closed her gates to let assimilation catch up with infiltration, she might have gained new racial and literary vitality from the infusion, and might have remained a Roman Rome, the voice and citadel of the West."

NAFTA created dozens more globalist Mexican billionaires but robbed poorer Mexican families of their means of livelihood, further spurring an migration north to cross U.S. borders. These policies contributed to California transitioning from a Republican state into a Democrat state.

The Center for Immigration Studies reported December 19, 2019:

"The presence of all immigrants ... will redistribute 26 seats in the House in 2020 ... Of the 26 seats that will be lost, 24 are from states that voted for Donald Trump in 2016. Of states that will gain House seats because of immigration, 19 seats will go to the solidly Democrat states of California, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Illinois ... Immigration profoundly redistributes political power at the federal level by changing the apportionment of House seats and votes in the Electoral College."

Robert Rector and Rachel Sheffield writing in "Backgrounder #2955 on Poverty and Inequality" that prior to LBJ's "War on Poverty," less than 2% of the Federal Budget was on welfare spending.

Fifty years later, spending on anti-poverty programs mushroomed to 27% of the Federal Budget, costing $22 trillion (adjusted for inflation), 3 times the cost of all U.S. military wars since the Revolution. Yet with no percentage improvement of the poor.

Before LBJ's "War on Poverty," less than 5% of children were born to unmarried parents - 50 year later, 40%.

Before LBJ's "War on Poverty," less than 10% of U.S. children lived in single parent houses - 50 years later, 33%, and single female parent houses 37%.

In 1965, Democrat Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan reported that 25% of all black children were born illegitimately - in 2015, 72%.

African-American economist Walter E. Williams, Distinguished Professor of Economics at George Mason University, wrote in "The Welfare State's Legacy" (9/20/17):

"In 1960, just 22 percent of black children were raised in single-parent families. Fifty years later, more than 70 percent of black children were raised in single-parent families. Here's my question: Was the increase in single-parent black families after 1960 a legacy of slavery, or might it be a legacy of the welfare state ushered in by the War on Poverty?"

Tim Goeglein, Deputy Director of the White House Office of Public Liaison 2001-2008, writing for Focus on the Family Citizen Magazine (2016), stated:

"This is perhaps the most dismal legacy of the Johnson years, and a sad testament to the vision of social planners who believed more government would mean stronger families and marriages."

Football legend, African American, Republican Rep. J.C. Watts, Jr., stated February 5, 1997:

"For the past 30 years our nation's spent $5 trillion trying to erase poverty, and the result, as you know, is that we didn't get rid of it at all. In fact, we spread it.

“We destroyed the self-esteem of millions of people, grinding them down in a welfare system that penalizes moms for wanting to marry the father of their children, and penalizes moms for wanting to save money. Friends, that's not right."

During Southern Democrat’s legislative control of Education, North Carolina enacted the 1831 Act to Prevent Teaching Slaves to Read:

"Any free person, who shall hereafter teach ... any slave within the State to read or write ... or shall give or sell to such slave ... any books or pamphlets, shall ... be fined not less than one hundred dollars ... imprisoned, or whipped."

That was the epitome of racism then. But today we have a different kind of racism that the Democrats have redefined - anyone opposing big government dependency welfare programs. In politics, this is called “seizing the moral high ground," where those pushing a cause want to appear before the public as more altruistic and caring, while portraying those opposing them as “selfish and less caring.”

A classic example is when casinos want to move into an area. Opponents may cite an increase in crime, drugs, prostitution, bankruptcies, broken homes and child sex-trafficking, but if the casinos donate some of their profits to schools, they can "seize the moral high ground" - claiming to care more about children and portraying their opponents as hating children.

Another political manipulation tactic is called "psychological projection” or “blame–shifting," where the guilty blame the innocent. Sigmund Freud wrote in Case Histories II (PFL 9, p. 132) about psychological projection - when a person or group may start to feel cornered or exposed as guilty - they defend their innocence in excessively accusing others of their own ill behavior, i.e., racists accusing others of being “racists.”

This is as old as what’s written in the Bible in Genesis 39, where Potiphar's wife accused Joseph of lusting after her, when she was the one lusting after Joseph.

Democrat political strategist David Axelrod said (NPR 4/19/10):

"In Chicago, there was an old tradition of throwing a brick through your own campaign office window, and then calling a press conference to say that you've been attacked."

Today a growing groundswell of many black leaders are getting louder in declaring - Dependency on government entitlements is reminiscent of the Southern Democrat plantations. Here are a few of such leaders:

* Star Parker, founder of CURE (Center for Urban Renewal) wrote - Uncle Sam's Plantation: How Big Government Enslaves America's Poor and What We Can Do About It.

* Rev. C.L. Bryant produced a documentary movie Runaway Slave, stating: "I am a 'Runaway Slave' from the Democrats' plantation."

* C. Mason Weaver wrote - It's OK to Leave the Plantation: The New Underground Railroad.

* Wayne Perryman wrote - Unfounded Loyalty: An In-Depth Look Into The Love Affair Between Blacks and Democrats.

* Rev. Bill Owens is the founder of the Coalition of African American Pastors. His wife, Dr. Deborah Owens, leads "Education for All."

* Bishop E.W. Jackson is the founder of S.T.A.N.D. and The Awakening Radio Show.

* Thomas Sowell, world renowned economist, wrote: Social Justice Fallacies.

* Larry Elder, Presidential Candidate, Radio Show Host, wrote: Stupid Black Men.

* Jesse Lee Peterson, president of Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny, acknowledged black unemployment being at the lowest level on record with Donald Trump and helping African Americans leave the “Democrat plantation."

Yahoo Sports reported June 19, 2019:

"A former NFL player testifying before Congress on Wednesday spoke out against the concept of reparations. Burgess Owens, formerly of the Jets and Raiders, spoke during hearings for H.R. 40 ... 'I used to be a Democrat until I did my history and found the misery that party brought to my race ... Let's pay restitution? How about the Democratic Party pay for all the misery they brought to my race?'"

In the Bible, God exposed “wicked Abimelech” using race-politics to overthrow the ancient Hebrew Republic (Judges 9). God called what Abimelech did as “wickedness.” Those who do it today are no less wicked.

The famous Chicago, communist, activist and mentor of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, Saul Alinsky, in his book Rules for Radicals, which he “Dedicated to Lucifer”, wrote:

"The organizer's first job is to create the issues or problems ... The organizer must first rub raw the resentments of the people of the community ... polarize the issue ... lead his forces into conflict ... An organizer must stir up dissatisfaction and discontent ... Fan the latent hostilities ... search out controversy ... unless there is controversy people are not concerned enough to act."

The famous black Republican, Booker T. Washington, in the beginning of the 20th century, wrote: My Larger Education (1911, Intellectuals and the Boston Mob, p. 118):

We do know that she is not a convicted fraudster felon. 

We know that she is not a convicted sexual predator. 

We’ve never heard her in her own voice brag about being a sexual predator. 

And there’s no record of her sleeping with porn actors. 

But I’m sure his supporters can justify all this and claim he is sent to restore Christian values.

And it certainly does seem that Trump has had immoral behavior in his past, that no true Christian would endorse, nor would I. But here are my thoughts relevant to presidential candidacies.

First off, what I posted was simply a survey that Media Research Center took on voting Democrats going into the Democrat National Convention. I thought it was interesting, regardless of whether Trump is good or bad.

But regarding who a Christian should vote for as President, that’s not the same as voting for a Sunday School teacher. Neither would qualify for that, unless of course they truly repented of their past.

However, Kamala has been no more moral in her past, committing even adultery in sleeping with a married man, Willie Brown, helping advance her political ambitions.

But the most import issue in who to vote for presidency, is what will their policies be? I won’t go through all their polices, but this is where the big divide is: These few policies issues would be enough - Kamala supporting unlimited abortions (murdering little babies right before they come out of the mother), homosexual perversions, transsexual perversions (even mutilating young children without parents’ knowledge), not to speak of all the many Kamala anti-biblical socialistic policies.

So, if we have to vote for one or the other, there is no question with what I know about the Bible and what God abominates, who we should vote for.

This year, the International Olympic Committee didn’t just mock Jesus Christ with pagan celebrations led by drag queens, “trans” kids, and a high priestess praying to Ba’al, but the Olympics made a sport out of men punching women.

A former high school football coach, the Minnesota governor gave a boon to people who enjoy watching boys beat up girls. Gov. Tim Walz forced boys into girls' sports, locker rooms and bathrooms, robbing these young women of their privacy, their sports titles, their college scholarships, and even their Olympic competition opportunities.

Would this former football coach turned governor allow a 6’2”, 250-pound, muscle-bound male linebacker “pancake” the young ladies trying to compete in women’s sports? The law Walz signed makes clear that, you betcha, he would. But that’s not all Walz did.

In April 2023, Walz BANNED Christian Counseling, while also making Minnesota a “sanctuary state” for parents seeking to kidnap their children from custodial parents in other states for the sole purpose of performing child “sex changes” against the other parent’s will, and in violation of custody orders from other states.

As governor, Walz forced LGBTQ cult activity on kids while banning Christian Counseling for ALL.

Walz apparently doesn’t bother with reading legal news, or he would have known that Liberty Counsel has already overturned 23 Christian Counseling bans in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. Now Liberty Counsel attorneys are coming for Minnesota.

Christian Counseling is a type of voluntary talk therapy that has been proven to resolve gender dysphoria and unwanted same sex attractions. As governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz banned Christian Counseling, thus preventing people from receiving the Christian Counseling of their choice.

Liberty Counsel has overturned 23 of these bans, and continue to fight the remaining bans, including the one Walz forced on Minnesotans.

Fight to protect our girls!

How often have you thought about the fact that God ordained civil government, not man? God ordained marriage and the church, not man.

All three are God’s holy institutions (marriage, state, church), for His design, purpose, and glory.  Most Christians are tenacious about proclaiming God’s holy design for marriage – one man, one woman. Most Christians are tenacious about declaring that Christ and Christ alone is Head of the Church.

Why are most Christians NOT just as tenacious about proclaiming that Christ and Christ alone is Head of the State. As the New Testament says (Col. 2:10; 1Tim. 6:15), “Christ is the Head over every ruler and authority… and KING of kings!”

One of the last things Jesus said after His resurrection and just before ascending into heaven – “ALL AUTHORITY has been given unto Me in heaven and on EARTH!” (Mat. 28:18).

What does that mean? That means that the United States Supreme Court is NOT supreme. That means that the United States Constitution is NOT supreme. That means that the United States President, Congress or military are NOT supreme.

That means there is only ONE Sovereign, Supreme Authority in the United States and every nation – Jesus Christ THE LORD - “He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords” (1Tim. 6:15).

Four times in the last Revelation of Jesus Christ He said (Rev. 1:8): “I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end, says the Lord God. ‘I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.’”

You want to learn about how marriage should be - you read the Bible. You want to learn about how church should be – you read the Bible. You want to learn about how government should be – you read the…?

That’s right, most read anything but the Bible to know how our government should be. But did you know, there is more in the Bible about how God orders all governments be than about marriage and the church combined!

From the book of Exodus all the way to the book of Acts in the Bible, it is ALL written exclusively in the context of how a nation-state should operate and be governed, of Israel and all other nations. 95% of the Old Testament and almost half of the New Testament is all written exclusively in the context of nation-state civil governance, exposing what is right or wrong. Even in the few remaining books of the Bible God addresses much in reference to civil governance for all nations.

I have almost 50 articles in Substack under Jim McCotter and Christian History addressing much of early American Christian history. But it really doesn’t matter how Christian early America was, as incredible as it was, because the Bible veto’s all past or present constitutions, laws, or policies that are not consistent with God’s one and only Law. At least if I understand anything that the Bible says, the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word is first over all creation.

“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together” (Col.  1:15-17).

Now think about this, God only gave one Law for any nation to follow. Will someone please tell me why Christians should embrace or promote any other law that man may write? God initially gave His Law to Israel, but does that make it any less perfect for any other nation? 

“Listen to Me, My people. Hear Me, Israel, for My Law will be proclaimed, and My justice will become a light to the nations” (Isa. 51:4).

As I’ve said before, the Law shows that we have all sinned and need a Savior and we can only be saved by His grace alone. We are then no longer under the curse or judgment of the Law, but we’re still required to keep the Law, and we do that when we walk in the Spirit - “So that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but walk according to the Spirit” (Rom. 8:4).

Jesus said: His Law will never disappear as long as there is a heaven and earth, and if you want to be least in heaven ignore the Law and teach others to also, or if you want to be great in heaven, do and teach the Law (Mat. 5:17-19).

The Apostle Paul also made it clear that the Law is for civil governance today (1Tim. 1:8ff). If you still do not understand this, you need to go back and read some of my other Christian History articles. Or write your comments or questions in the comment section and I’ll try to respond.

Much of my life I have taught and written on the New Testament church and godly marriage. But since the 20th century most Christian leaders have done just what Jesus said NOT to do - “ignore” His Law (Mat. 5:19 NLT)! Now our nation is reaping the consequences. This is why at this time in history I feel compelled to address God’s biblical vision for what is to be His holy civil institution no less than marriage and church. God ordains nothing to be unholy.

Don’t try to rearrange the lounge chairs on the Titanic, rather we need a Christian uprising. We need to truly become “One nation under God.” If you believe that, then we need to read the Bible and see what our God says His Law should be for “One nation under God.”

Let’s have a discussion. We better start talking about this. Many hope that Trump will get into office, and it will all get better. But if he doesn’t get in, I believe Christian persecution will increase exponentially at jobs, schools, and elsewhere. You know some Christians are already in jail for standing up for righteousness.

However, even if Trump gets in office, assuming he has adequate biblical understanding on all that needs to be done, has the Marxist evil now grown so deep and wide in virtually every institution that resistance will overwhelm Trump even more this time, and especially if he does not have both houses.

And is it really likely there would be enough godly transformation in four years that the immoralists will be outlawed, and the righteous will reign and continue so? Or will it only delay the inevitable, reaping what we have sown with our immoral laws and defiance of God.

A little house cleaning will not keep the house from collapsing at this point if it remains immorally divided. Jesus said, “a house divided against itself will not stand” (Mat. 12:25). The unrighteous cannot be given any civil standing for us to survive. The Bible says this (2Cor. 6:14ff), and history has proven it. I will address this point more in the future.  

I don’t want to be in the Titanic, but really, we should not be content to be in any so-called improved “boat” that is not a nation ruled under God’s Law and Jesus as King, not if we love God and believe the Bible. We should make no less effort to change an unbiblical government than we would to change an unbiblical church. We must ALL get involved now, unlike ever before. If not now, when?

“The complacency of fools will destroy them!” (Prov. 1:32).

Some people think that capital punishment is as old as mankind, but it is not. However, murder is as old as mankind.

The Bible declares the first murder in the world (Gen. 4): Adam and Eve’s firstborn son Cain murdered his younger righteous brother Abel. There is a lot to learn from this story but for our topic here there are two things important to note.      

God punished Cain, but He did NOT order capital punishment for Cain. In fact, God put a “mark” on Cain so that no one would kill him.  

As a result of this, you might say God then allowed an extended time in world history to demonstrate how bad total civilization will become when there is no capital punishment for murderers in the world.  

Here’s what happened (Gen. 6:5-13):

“The Lord observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth, and He saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil. So the Lord was sorry He had ever made them and put them on the earth. It broke His heart. And the Lord said, ‘I will wipe this human race I have created from the face of the earth.’ But Noah found favor with the Lord.

“This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, the only blameless person living on earth at the time, and he walked in close fellowship with God. Noah was the father of three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

“Now God saw that the earth had become corrupt and was filled with violence. God observed all this corruption in the world, for everyone on earth was corrupt. So God said to Noah, ‘I have decided to destroy all living creatures, for they have filled the earth with violence. Yes, I will wipe them all out!’”

So with a great universal flood God destroyed every person on the earth, except for Noah and his family because he was “blameless… and walked in close fellowship with God.”

Just a side note about the great universal flood:

The biblical account of a great, universal flood has been recorded in every ancient civilization and culture on earth. Even people living far from the sea—the Hopi Indians in the American Southwest, the Incas high in the Peruvian Andes—have legends of a great flood that once happened.

I grew up in Colorado Spring and more than once went to the top of beautiful Pikes Peak, which is over 14,000 feet high above the ocean. Do you know what’s easy to find all over the ground on the very top of Pikes Peak – seashell fossils! They’re everywhere.

There was indeed a great universal world flood destroying all the wicked on the earth. And this was indeed the world’s first truly just capital punishment, executed by God Himself.

After the universal flood God started all over again repopulating His earth. However, unlike Adam and Eve and the world before the universal judgment/flood, this time God mandated humans to carry out His judicial civil judgments. To Noah and his sons, God mandated this ONE new command (Gen. 9:1-7):

“Then God blessed Noah and his sons and told them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth… And now I will require the blood of anyone who takes another person’s life. If a wild animal kills a person, it must die. And anyone who murders a fellow human must die. If anyone takes a human life, that person’s life must be taken by humans. For God made human beings in His own image. Now be fruitful and multiply, and repopulate the earth.’”

When God started the world all over again, at this time He instituted the world’s first one and only civil law – capital punishment for all murderers.

* Capital punishment being the first and only civil law God ordained makes capital punishment of supreme importance to help protect civilization.

* To defy capital punishment is to defy life itself. A murderer is a life killer. Therefore, if you respect life, you want to eradicate all life killers.

* Termites multiply and if not eradicated destroy whole houses; even so murderers will multiply if not eradicated, and destroy whole nations.

* People that are anti-capital punishment devalue life, and especially innocent victims lives. The reason for this is only one, they despise God – “Who made human beings in His own image.” The root heart cause of all murderers and many who do not support capital punishment is their disdain or hatred of their Creator God and His image, people. Jesus said (Luke 18:2): “He who does not respect God does not care about people.”

After God established capital punishment for all the world, generations later He filled out all the rest of His Law from Mount Sinai (His Ten Commandments, Statutes, & Judgments) to another man who also “walked in close fellowship with God” - Moses. God’s Law is the only law for a nation, and He gave it to Israel to model for all nations to follow. And this full Law of God reaffirmed again God’s justice in mandating capital punishment.

To support and promote God’s ordained civil Law for capital punishment is good. However, with everything that is good from God, Satan will always counterfeit it, twist it, and abuse it. Wicked rulers have abused capital punishment for their own wicked purposes. But this is not a reason to reject capital punishment but to promote even more, God’s true ordained - capital punishment.

We do not have room here to address all the wicked historical abuses of capital punishment, nor all the convoluted pro or con studies on capital punishment. But if it’s carried out according to the God of the Bible and He says it’s good, only those who believe they came from monkeys will think they’re smarter than the Bible, their Creator, and even Jesus, who you will soon see also endorses capital punishment.

But I would like to address one area that renders capital punishment counterproductive. In the U.S. most men sit on death row for many years before they receive their just penalty. And delayed justice only causes more men’s hearts to be set on doing evil! Eccl. 8:11:

“When a crime is not executed quickly the hearts of men fully set to do evil.”

The New Testament also supports capital punishment, no less so than the Old Testament. Both the Lord Jesus and the apostle Paul reaffirmed capital punishment. It’s recorded twice in the gospels where Jesus reaffirmed capital punishment (Mat. 15:4 & Mark 7:10). And the apostle Paul reaffirmed capital punishment at least twice (Rom. 1:32 & 13:4).

To close, remember this, what God says:

* Prov. 21:15 - “Justice is a joy to the godly, but it terrifies those who do evil.”

* Prov. 17:15 - “One who justifies the wicked and one who condemns the righteous, both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord.”

* Prov. 29:27 - “He who is righteous is an abomination to the wicked. And the unjust are an abomination to the righteous.”

(There are 16 very wise capital punishment crimes for our protection in God’s Law. We’ll see these in future Christian History.)
