Jerry Nadler was 350 pounds and weak willed unable to lose the weight by himself.  In desperation he had major surgery to shrink the size of his stomach.  He is a short 5-foot, 4 inches tall and was morbidly obese.

When he lost the weight, many hoped he would be more human and intelligent but those dreams were dashed when he stood behind rapist Bill Clinton in 1998 and railed against impeachment.
