Join Jimmy Sengenberger at the Crossroads with Alfredo Ortiz and Rick French.
Jimmy (@SengCenter) begins the show by discussing three key lessons we’ve learned over the past week that stem from George Floyd’s murder, race and police tensions, the riots engulfing America, and the coronavirus pandemic. Then, Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of Job Creators Network (@JobCreatorsUSA) returns to discuss the damage Covid-19 shutdown policies and now the riots have brought to small businesses across America and the steps that policymakers should take to help get these business owners back on their feet.
Next, Rick French lives in Raleigh, North Carolina. His business, French/West/Vaughan, is based in a renovated historic building in Downtown Raleigh. Over the weekend, their offices were – like everywhere else downtown – decimated by riots and chaos. Rick rejoins the show to tell his tragic story of what’s happened in Raleigh like many other cities across the country, explain how he protected himself and his business Saturday night, and talk about the failure of leadership shown at all levels. Finally, Jimmy lambasts the destruction of the riots and the senseless violence and beatings happening all over. Producer Nathan Matoush (@MatoushMagic) joins in to share some measured, sincere thoughts of his own.
