They talk the long rumored retirement of Fox Sports NFL studio analyst and former Super bowl winning coach Jimmy Johnson at 81 years old. It was apparently time, but it was odd that Johnson didn't go ahead and do it as part of Fox's Super bowl coverage in New Orleans last month. What was really going on with that?

Next, the guys go over NBC's Mike Tirico doing regional NBA play by play for games this week on two NBC regional sports channels. What was the motiviation behind this? Mike saw the Monday night game he did for the Philadelphia 76ers game and he'll be working another game in Boston later this week.
