Since making his television debut on Sunday Night at the London Palladium in 1963, Jimmy Tarbuck has become one of the icons of British light entertainment with his soft Liverpudlian lilt and cheeky chappie sense of humour. Often described as the fifth Beatle, Jimmy was one of the leading products of the Merseyside explosion during the early sixties, yet his passion for golf has brought him into contact with some of the most prolific figures of the twentieth century and has made him part of the showbiz establishment. I was interested to hear from the man himself and get his take on an unparalleled career in entertainment. Ladies and gentlemen Mr Jimmy Tarbuck.
