E012: Lucy Wheeler - Blue Belt
Lucy has been brave enough to travel around Europe and train at a Jiu Jitsu school in Lisbon, not knowing the language and walking fresh in off the street. Whilst we become familiar with the jiu jitsu schools we currently train at, it takes some bravery to take yourself out of your comfort zone and experience somewhere new. However, we have the language of jiu jitsu and this seems to connect us all, around the world!
This is a fantastic episode covering minor injuries, training at international Women's Camps, Polaris Competitions and the observation of Judo influence in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, as well as some essential tips for wellbeing and health on the mats!
