He shares not only the rewards and successes he got in his 3 years as an advisor, but also the challenges and struggles he overcame to become better. Truly one of the most inspiring people I've been around with in this career.

I have always been fascinated by people in the theater community because of their passion for their craft. So in this episode I invited one of the very few people I know who is a lifer in the theater world. She is an actor, director, producer, theater arts professor and she was one of the reasons why I enjoyed The Joy of Improv class (Third World Improv's level 1 improv class) a couple of years back - THE Missy Maramara!

In this episode, we talked about the current state of theater in the midst of this crisis, the challenges of those in the theater community, what lies ahead and moving forward despite the challenges.

Also, I would not want to pass up on the opportunity of knowing more about Missy's journey from her childhood days to her current success. Because I always believe that the best part of success is not the reward, but the journey to get there. Missy also gave a financial advise that you would rarely hear from someone outside the financial services industry.

I've known Icel Dy since grade school and a few months after leaving the corporate world to immerse myself into sales, we reconnected and she shared the story of her beginnings in sales and how her success came about. I learned a lot from her story so I thought sharing it in #thursdaytalks would inspire our followers.

In this episode we talked about her shift from corporate world to sales, challenging aspects of sales, how to overcome them, and going out of your comfort zone.

For this week's #thursdaytalks, I invited my Philam Life Unit Manager DJ Dimaliuat. Aside from being a unit manager, DJ is also the President of Driven Marketing (a real estate marketing company). One thing I admire about DJ is his business savvy and ability to balance his roles in both businesses.
