No matter how tough we claim to be in life, worrying will find it's way to hint us hard.

And when that happens, you are not in any way okay.

You can't even think clear, even when you force yourself to.

One might end up overthinking.

In other to be okay, one has to have that trait of reduced or no worry.

There are times I worry a lot, little things disturb me.

I worry to find a way to solve it.

But believe me worrying doesn't solve anything, rather it creates room for more troubles.

I really commend @maryjacy the community's recent spotlight artist for choosing “Be Okay” as this week's theme.

Because with this theme we can be able to communicate with one another on how to be okay through music.

Hello music lovers.

I humbly welcome you all to Hive Open Mic Week 160 with the theme “fraternity”.

I almost did not make an entry for this week until, when I friend of mine that we used to worship in the same chapel with called.

We talked and remembered a lot of cool things that happened back then, especially with fellowship.

It was after the call that it occurred to me that the song, we usually sing to, lifting hands together in church before dismissal fits the week's theme.

I went in search of the song, which is a song from the gospel hymn book titled Majesty, worship his Majesty.

I chose the song for what we use it for in chapel back then.

It is used to remind ourselves as people fellowshipping together that, Jesus Christ who died and rose again is now glorified.

Reminding us to be Christlike.

I decided to sing a song by Israel Houghton titled friend of God.

When it comes to friendship a lot is involved, understanding and sacrifice should be among it.

When there is understanding, the friendship works out well.

The best Good friend I have got so far is being a friend of God.

He is perfect and non comparable.

I happily welcome you to another exciting week of Afri-tunes Week 59.

I am glad to make a consistent entry for two weeks now.

Well, it's all thanks to my evening sit out I guess.

I was outside one cool evening, enjoying all the evening offered.

I looked and saw group of men also sitting outside discussing.

Truth is this group of people are very sensible.

Their discussion was on the happenings in the country.

Most especially my city that was currently in electricity blackout.

These group of men talked real, like dem bin dey para as they table the matter on ground.

Yes, they even had solutions to it.

At some point I smiled, because all their talk wasn't going anywhere.

To me it was just to satisfy their anger because the talk wasn't going to change the present situation, except they act.

There discussion continued, but I decided not to pay attention to them again.

Because omor the street became so noisy with generator from different angles, and of course music.

I laughed hard when I heard a song by Tekno - Rara playing from somewhere.

I really wanted to call the group of men discussing to take a moment and listen to the song.

But, abeg I no get strength for long talk nor trouble.

So I just enjoyed it, promising myself to perform this song as my entry to Afri-tunes.
