Lindsay Collingwood ('00) left a lasting impression on the JMU volleyball program.  A four-time first-team selection in the Colonial Athletic Association, she ended her career and still holds JMU records for career kills and attempts and service aces, among others. Collingwood, who was inducted on her first ballot for the JMU Athletics Hall of Fame in 2010, joins Curt Dudley for a trip down memory lane, including a little fun about some of her JMU teammates.

Dae'Quan Scott was originally planning to play for a JMU football rival, Scotty McGee helped sway him otherwise.  Scott ranks fourth all-time for JMU career rushing yards and shares memories of his days in uniform.  His last game against Richmond re-airs Saturday, Sept. 26 at 2 p.m. on WSVAOnline.  TJ Bush of JMU men's soccer became a goaltender by default and was a basketball player in high school.  He joins Savannah Marshall in conversation.

This is the first Alumni edition of the podcast. A literal leadoff hitter steps into the batter's box for the debut edition. Corey Hoch was a redshirt senior under first-year head coach Spanky McFarland, providing leadership in a transition year of 1998 while enjoying the best year of his JMU player experience.  Hoch leans on his Diamond Duke buddies even today as you learn in this podcast.

 

Batting second is Emilly Schutt, who played field hockey for the Dukes and is continuing her education at the University of New England in Maine, studying marine biology.
