Dr Joan Johnson -Freese was at the top of her field in the world of space security . After decades teaching space security at the US Naval War College she began to expand her horizons to address the global challenge of bringing women into positions of power in the security field. Now a professor of Women Peace and Security Studies at Harvard, she literally writes the textbooks on how the world can become a more secure place by including women in the decision making process in government, peace negotiations and societal construction.
