Gabi Madden spent her childhood and youth in the Hudson Valley, and grew up working at Savona's Pizza, the family restaurant. She understands the impact government has on the small business community and the importance of good government to grow the local economy and create opportunity. Gabi learned the ins and outs of Albany right after college, by working in state government, at times fielding phone calls from local citizens and finding just the right programs and services to help them. She believes that government should be accessible to all citizens and is committed to raising the standards of public service. A dynamic young woman, she has encyclopaedic knowledge of how local government works, and she brings a breath of fresh air to the political scene with her sparkling personality and warmth.

This November climate change is on the back of the ballot. New York's Prop 1, Environment and Climate Change Projects Bond Measure will be the only statewide proposal on the ballot.
This bipartisan bond measure will address safe drinking water, expand parks and farms, update infrastructure, advance environmental justice, create green jobs, and much more.
Sean Dague, one of the volunteer state coordinators for The Citizens' Climate Lobby joins us for a comprehensive discussion of exactly what Prop 1 will do for New York State and of course the Hudson Valley.
