Weather in 5, 6/3/2024 Mostly dry and warm conditions in the Eastern US for the first half of of the weeke but that changes for the second half with showery rains likely from time to time beginning late Wednesday and lasting on and off into the upcoming weekend. Severe weather is likely today from Texas northeastward up the Mississippi & Missouri River Valleys.

Showers and thunderstorms with some heavy rain is over the Lower Great Lakes to the Central Gulf Coast. Mostly sunny conditions cover much of the Western US. Severe weather is possible later today in the Western Plains & Sunday it shifts to the Northern Plains.

Showers and thunderstorms, some severe are moving east with an approaching cold front. We see severe weather overall relaxing across the US this week and we will look to the rest of the week ahead and the long range.

Severe weather will continue in these regions tonight. Monday brings more severe weather risk and elevated tornado risk for parts of the Northeast and most of the Middle & South Atlantic states.

Weather in 5, 5/24/2024. the Memorial Day holiday weekend is upon us and we see severe weather risk being front and center over the next 3 days from the Plains to the Midwest & Ohio Valley and eventually the Northeast and Mid Atlantic states by the time we get to Monday. Elevated tornado risk is likley in the Southern Plains Saturday and in the Ohio Valley Sunday.

The center of activity will be in the middle of the nation. The Northeast and Mid Atlantic will see mostly dry weather with an exception Saturday night into Sunday morning. Severe weather risk could move in for Monday.
