Joe & Joe Weather Show this Monday Labor Day September 7, 2020. A major summer winter storm is getting underway in the Northern Rockies and will spread southward into the Central and even parts of the Southern Rockies tonight thorugh Tuesday night. Heavy wet snow, strong winds, and temperature drops of 60 to 70 degrees over 36 hours will occur. Winter Storm Warnings are up for a large area of Wyoming and Colorado. In the tropics Tropical Storm Paulette has formed making it the 16th named storm of the season and another one for the record books as the earliest we have ever gotten to the "P" storm. It is in the Central Tropical Atlantic. We could have Tropical Storm Rene on the map this evening or tonight and it is to the east of Paulette and near the Cabo Verde Islands.
